Gained knowledge about steel manufacturing process.
Obtained knowledge about steel plant maintenance.
Worked on optimizing the melt-shop emission control system.
Worked with engineers to study overhead cranes layout designs, locate them in the yard & identify their parts physically, report any damaged or lost parts, prepare major component parts lists, and list the tools and tackles required for erection.
Coordinated with other departments to establish a temporary workplace for the mobile equipment workshop at the worksite for the maintenance of a fleet of forklifts, skid-steer loaders, and rough terrain cranes.
Responsible for the maintenance team members of the mobile equipment workshop and diesel generators.
Prepared & worked out preventive maintenance schedules for each piece of equipment and arranged schedules for repair maintenance.
Studied automotive fluids and lubricants and selected the right ones for the machines.
Attended breakdowns, diagnosed faults and oversaw time-critical repair.
Participated in mobile equipment accidents investigations and cooperated with safety & security dept. to prevent them.
Prepared all major lists associated with the workshop and mobile equipment including consumable items, tools and equipment, maintenance logs, equipment status, vehicles identification records, properties, stock items, and contact lists.
Ordered materials through SAP system.
Planned for the future mobile equipment workshop.

Obtained strong working knowledge of the risks of workshops and heavy equipment and became conscious of workshops housekeeping significance.
Gained good knowledge about some of the components used in oil well completion process as well as machines & tools used in workshops.
Observed workshop fitters assembling and disassembling some of wire-line equipment.
Attended hydraulic pressure tests on some completion products.
Reported safety violations and evaluated the company’s safety regulations.
