• Wired Networking: Managing Cisco cisco catalyst switch series and Nexus switches for reliable and high-performance network connectivity.

• Wireless Networking: Configuring and maintaining Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) (indoor and outdoor) to ensure seamless wireless coverage.

• Routing Protocols: Expertise in OSPF, BGP, and static routing protocols for efficient network traffic management.

• Cisco Data Center: Basic administration of Cisco Data Center with ACI infrastructure, ensuring optimized data center operations.

• Telephony Systems: Handling daily operations of Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, 3rd-party call recording for quality assurance, Cisco Contact Center, and SMS services.

• Network Security: Managing Cisco ISE server along with TACACS and RADIUS for secure device and user authentication across campus.

• Firewall Management: Basic administration and configuration of Palo Alto firewalls to enhance network security.

As I was assign as Network engineer in Qatar university my responsibilities was to handle A new project & design the Campus network solution Wired & Wireless.

Tier-3 Campus wireless and wired network help-desk ticket triage

• Configure and install various Cisco network devices and services (e.g., wireless controllers, routers ASR, switches catalyst Nexus).
• Perform wireless site surveys, tune Access Point radios, recommend placement changes as needed.
• Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) troubleshooting and management.
• Work with vendors and partners to develop “test plans” and “pilot projects” for new and emerging technologies.
• Deploy Cisco multilayer modular and stackable switches to be used throughout campus and routinely upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on and off hours.
• knowledge in troubleshooting and engineering Cisco wired and managed wireless networks with use of Cisco SNMP appliances (Prime Infrastructure, DNAC).
• Design, develop and maintain configuration standards for network equipment. Serve as an escalation point for network issues, including backbone routing and switching, edge configuration, and Internet related services.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

• Sophos NextGen Firewall configuration and police design for LAN, WAN, DMZ, IPS, SSL-VPN, Wireless Protection / Network Access Protection with Microsoft active directory authentication, Manage and secure system network comprising hundreds of systems, with multi-layer ISPs.

• Managed Windows Server 2008, 2012, Domain Administration, Backups systems, 1100 User Accounts, File and Print Servers, Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for desktop environment 700+client nodes.

• Responsible of administration of Data center rack management & performance monitoring, including VLAN, Multi-WAN, Gateways in HA and load balancing topology, including Flex System Enterprise Chassis.

• Manage & T-Shoot Cisco catalyst switches(3570G, 35600G,
2960S, 2950S)for in-house high redundant network connectivity, in this include (Inter vlan Routing, VLAN management, STP/RSTP, Ether channel, L2 security).

• Hands on experience of static and dynamic routing on Cisco routers for central office to remote branch connectivity in this include(static routing, EIGRP .HSRP load balance traffic engineering & reshaping)

• Manages day-to-day operations of radiology and cardiology PACS system including data QA, studies, Work list with RIS/HIS/PACS interface, etc.

• Responsible of PACS equipment including image workflow, archiving and pre-fetching and other related activities, Expand the PACS server to for new modalities.

• Integration of medical equipment, test and implement of data transaction object with HIS vendor.

• Involved in preparation of newly computerized system based on ERP software that includes different modules like financial, budget, sales, production, inventory, payroll, HRMS etc.

• Develop and manage IT inventory with the Collaboration of Finance/Admin and procurement departments, Manage costs and budgets of network and system infrastructure expansion and research projects, Coordinate with national and international IT vendors.

• Data Center Maintenance, Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers & Core Network Device .

• Configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Cisco switches, routers, and wireless LAN controllers(WLAN).

• Provide Tier I & II level resolution to all VoIP (Cisco IP Telephony) issues across the enterprise, and provide outage documentation.

• VOIP solution using Elastix for Inbound/Outbound calls, Diagnosing, isolating and replacing failing networking and VoIP components.

• Supporting and troubleshooting Citrix Receiver, leveraging Citrix Director to address. Monitor and maintain Jira ticketing queue responding within service level requirements.

• Support Users leveraging a diverse mixture of virtual desktop "terminals" including thin clients, desktops, and laptops, BYOD devices both inside and outside of locations globally as well as tablets and smartphones.

I started my professional career from one of the biggest healthcare sector of Pakistan, which employment strength consist 3000, national wide & branches in Karachi, as i was part of IT department.

Below were my core responsibility.

• Troubleshooting system and network problems, Hardware software faults. Resolve technical issues related to Microsoft, Macintosh Cisco Products along with commonly used firewalls, Servers and other infrastructure devices, give support to LNH Staff Users and Students. A domain structured environment with more than 1500 Users and computers locally and remotely.

• PACS management, maintenance and troubleshooting, Workflow management and, Maintain the Patient Image Database, Ensures daily database back are successful, Performs weekly database checks (e.g. physical and logical).Maintains daily/monthly backups in a safe place.

• Troubleshoot Static Routes and MPLS Connectivity for remote branches of LNH.

• Configuring and troubleshooting of Catalyst & small business SG300 switches, Cisco Routers (2900, 2800), Wi-Fi devices Aruba APs, Switching including VLAN’s, Trunking, and Spanning Tree and High Redundancy networks and maintain the functionality of the Data Center infrastructure.

• Research and development, Investigate new technologies and new methodologies for achieving technology goals, provide consultation to divisions looking for updated technology.

• Basic administration of Active Directory, IT Helpdesk Ticketing System also Support in house software HIS, EMR, Oracle, IBM AS-400 Terminals.

• Network Planning and designing of different IT structured cabling projects, laying of multi-mode Fiber Optic Cabling & Splicing, used as backbone with the Coordination of
vendors, supervising all In house new structured cabling projects with all industry standard Solution.
