Research based on "Non-invasive biomarker discovery in plasma/serum samples for monitoring the diseases status, Viral load and genotype determination by digital PCR".
Major responsibilities included:
• Amplification and Detection of hepatitis HCV RNA viruses and HBV DNA viruses MTB by Real Time PCR.
• Performing HCV RNA genotyping.
• Performing routine biochemistry, ELISA and microbiological tests culture/sensitivity and biochemical tests.
• Involvement in maintenance of quality control and standard operational procedures (SOP)
• Teaching and training to the medical technologist staff.
• Pakistan lab provided molecular biology consultancy to the Patel hospital (Karachi). Being a molecular biologist, my responsibility was to provide consultancy to the Patel hospital.
Responsibilities included
• Support to the end user of PCR and other nucleic acid amplification procedures.
• Installation/Demonstration and training of PCR Real Time Instruments.
• Installation/Demonstration and training of Gel Document System.
