Currently working as a RF Engineer (DT Team Lead) on Mobilink-Warid Merger project which is globally 2nd largest telecom merger project where I have led a fleet of 22 DT Engineers & 2 Post Processors Engineers for MORAN (Multi-Operator Radio Access Network), DESURR (Dismantle; Expansion; Swap; U900; Relocation; Rehoming) & MOCN (Multi-Operator Core Network) activities. I have gained experience in project management under strict timelines to meet customer requirements & expectations with quality output. Gained extensive experience in handling Nemo Outdoor & Analyze Tool used for DT activities and official reporting to Mobilink Management. Gained extensive experience in inter departmental issues handling and coordinated with OMCR & BSS\Operations Departments for quick & positive resolution of network issues. Gained hands on experience of 2G 3G LTE Technologies on Huawei equipment and made comparison reports of Ericsson equipment swapped with new Huawei equipment. Guided & mentored junior PP Engineers in their daily day to day tasks and queries to deliver project more effectively & efficiently.
Worked as a RF Engineer (Post Processor) on Ufone Pakistan MBB Project where I have gained hands-on experience of 2G & 3G technologies on Huawei Equipment. I have also gained experience in planning, implementation, drive testing activities and post processing of Dual Carrier Sites (u900) to maximize the 3G coverage and data throughputs where coverage and data throughputs are faced with limitations in a certain area due to various RF conditions. Gained extensive experience in scanning pre & post processing activities where pilot pollution is observed, analyzed and removed to optimize a certain area with max 3G throughputs with dual carrier sites. Handled drive testing, TEMS kit and other related issues of junior team members and guided them accordingly for smooth and successful completion of activities. I have also gained experience in conducting training sessions of TEMS Investigation, TEMS Discovery and Mapinfo for the junior team members and other DT resources to build understanding of these core software among them.
Worked as a RF Engineer (Post Processor & DT) on Telenor Pakistan Project where I have gained hands-on experience of 2G, 3G & LTE technologies on ZTE Equipment. Gained extensive experience in routine or issue based drive testing, log file analysis, reporting and RF optimization to maximize coverage, capacity & quality of network & also assisted in Rehoming activities. Performed multiple joint activities with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on behalf of Telenor Pakistan in major cities as well as in remote areas like Gwadar. Broaden my business & technical knowledge through exposure with both technology & commercial teams. Assisted commercial teams for efficient generation of revenue for the company. Conducted joint activities with FOPS for efficient replacement of faulty hardware. Handled customer complains & suggested RF solutions for the complaint resolution. Expanded & developed expertise in RF Planning by working on USF Zhob Project. Provided support to senior team members on need basis whenever required & also mentored junior team members & guided them in improving their efficiency.
Worked as a RF Engineer (RF Planning) on Telenor Pakistan USF Zhob Project where I have gained experience in Planning New Sites (Coverage or Capacity) under difficult scenarios, Conducting & Evaluating TSSRs & SSFRs, Evaluation of Work Packages of New Sites, KPIs Monitoring, 2G Site Expansions Monitoring & its Benchmarking, Evaluation of 3G Sites for Sector Splitting & also Defining them in Core Network, Planning of IBS, IBCS & Repeaters to provide smooth indoor coverage at particular locations where indoor coverage is compromised due to various RF conditions.
Worked as a RF Engineer (Drive Testing) on Telenor Pakistan 3G Rollout Project where I have gained experience in Drive Testing, Walk Testing, Resolving Corporate Client Network Complaints, Conducting Live Network Activities, Coordinating with Sales\Marketing Teams for Joint Visits to improve coverage at particular location, Deploying and maintaining smooth operation of IBS & IBCS (Repeaters, Micro Site, Femto, Cell-Fi etc.) & also gained good knowledge & experience in RF Optimization.
Visited Equipment Control Room (ECR), Aeronautical Message Handling System (AMHS) and Radar Section of Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan.
Gained knowledge related to electronic equipment which are used in various places like Conveyer Belts, Sensors, Fire Alarm Systems, Air Handling Units.
