▪ Responsible to look after Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering scope for assigned projects in industries & carry out project engineering activities throughout complete project cycle.
▪ Coordinate with project stake holders, engineering consultants & multi-disciplinary engineering managers to discuss technical aspects of the project including engineering design, selection of products, SAT/FAT, construction at site, installation of devices, operational feasibility, risk analysis, quality, safety & reliability.
▪ Review Tender ITB documents, project scope & FEED, to prepare project estimations including engineering cost, material cost, equipment cost, manpower resources, mobilization & de-mobilization cost, liabilities, etc.
▪ Perform product selection, sizing/calculations & model decoding as per the given process values.
▪ Study process specifications & recommend technical products with compliance to quality & safety standards.
▪ Assist in the preparation of technical documentation & drawings including P&ID, SLD, instrument hook-ups, instrument index, ILD layout, project quality & safety plan, method statement, JSA, ITP, RFI, FAT/SAT inspection documents, as-built, QC dossier, etc.
▪ Conduct site survey, review engineering & assist in the preparation of project execution plan & schedule.
▪ Advise the management on quality assurance matters in overall planning, staffing, strategies & budgets.
▪ Review material specifications, liaise with industrial codes & standards, procure material & equipment as per approved Material Take-Off (MTO) list and prepare for site mobilization & project execution.
▪ Manage site execution activities of the project and optimize work completions within tight schedules.
▪ Provide technical assistance for installation, testing & commissioning activities of the project; coordinate with multi-disciplinary departments and ensure trouble-free startup & operations of the plant.
▪ Inspect & witness proper installations of electrical, instrumentation & control devices as per IFC hookup drawings for temperature, pressure, level & flow transmitters, sensors, switches, valves, pumps, control loop testing, megger testing, wiring terminations, Site Acceptance Test (SAT), tagging, etc.
▪ Clear all punch list items and hand-over site to the end-user.
▪ Assist with the preparation of project As-Built documentation & deliverables.
▪ Train & mentor junior team members and assign them activities that help nourish their potential.
▪ Play active role in the development & execution of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering for assigned projects at Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, & other process industries.
▪ Conversant in engineering practices in industries with concentration in process instrumentation & control.
▪ Responsible to look after Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) projects for maintenance, shutdown & plant expansion.
▪ Perform initial site surveys to determine field construction material, the required manpower, scaffolding, tools & equipment; create BOM (Bill of Material); which leads towards the overall project estimation.
▪ Perform product selection, sizing & model decoding as per the given process values.
▪ Communicate with vendors and suppliers from local and overseas market.
▪ Review vendor recommendations, manufacturer documents & drawings; evaluate techno-commercial offers from different vendors to determine best technical and cost-effective solution.
▪ Prepare estimation of engineering, material, equipment & manpower required for the project.
▪ Provide technical recommendations / clarifications and on-site support.
▪ Assist the senior manager in the development and execution of engineering projects.
▪ Prepare budgets to individual contracts, including outsourced personnel, rental equipment & sub-contractors.
▪ Review detail engineering, develop project documentation and comply with project deliverables.
▪ Manage FAT/FAT, site construction, QA/QC inspection & testing activities as per standard code of conduct.
▪ Monitor project progress; comply with QHSE procedures and ensure professional quality is delivered.
▪ Handle workforce, supervise site activities & make sure the daily progress is in line with the project schedule.
▪ Manage project execution, installation & commissioning including megger test, proper device hookup, punching of wire terminal lugs, tighten lose connections, loop testing, wiring continuity, start-up, etc.
▪ Inclined towards quality of work and adhere to QA/QC regulations as per local & international standards.
▪ Read technical drawings (P&ID, hook-up, SLD, isometric, ILD layout, wiring diagrams, etc.)
▪ Assist with the preparation of project As-Built documentation & deliverables.
▪ Work on company’s customized business management ERP software including RFQ handling system, Finance
& Invoicing system, and Task Management portal.
▪ Responsible to look after application & sales of instrumentation division products from GE Dresser, Texsteam, Roots, Becker, Blackhawk, SPX, AST, CRANE, APV, & Cooper.
▪ Products include flow meters (rotary, ultrasonic, gas & liquid turbine), pumps (chemical injection, centrifugal, positive displacement), compressors (centrifugal & screw type), valves (ball, check, butterfly, gate, plug), control valves (gas & steam), actuators, mixers, strainers, gas regulators, etc.
▪ Manage customer enquiries and interpret customer requirements.
▪ Perform product sizing and product selection from given process values.
▪ Prepare proposal documents and ensure timely submission of quotations.
▪ Take follow-ups on submitted proposals and log client feedbacks.
▪ Provide technical clarifications and technical support to the customer.
▪ Contribute in organizational growth and identify business opportunities.
▪ Visit clients, build customer relationship and ensure customer satisfaction.
▪ Report to line manager, provide assistance to him and work as an active team player.
▪ Use customized ERP system for CRM, business management and data logging.
