Currently working with Mobilink as Specialist Financial Analysis & Planning. A brief description of my job responsibilities are:
• Monthly and periodic reporting to Holding Company (Orascom Telecom Holding)
• Management Reporting for Local Management.
• Preparation of departmental, regional budget and coordination with departments
• Maintenance of Mobilink Administrative softwares like E-Travelling, Transport Management system, Inventory Management System etc.
• Cost control, financial monitoring and process re-engineering.
Worked with E&Y as Manager Tax and handling various national and multinational clients. A brief description of my job responsibilities are:
• Adhering income tax compliance requirements of the clients
• Personal and Corporate tax computations
• Client’s Payroll preparation
• Dealing with Tax authorities for resolution of clients matters
Worked with AMZ Group of companies as Finance Manager and looked after financial matters of two group companies. A brief description of my job responsibilities were:
• Preparation and presentation of Annual and periodical Financial Statements, and overall looking after the book keeping process.
• Liaison with auditors during annual audit.
• Handling all the matters with Banks, Leasing and Insurance companies.
• Managing all tax matters e.g. Refund cases, appeals etc.
• Payments, Collections and overall supervision of the activities of Finance Department.
• Financial analysis and MIS reporting to the CEO regarding sales, cost of sales, profitability, fund flow statements, various project wise statements etc
• Project Management: Costing, Budgeting, monitoring, financial planning
Achievements
• Managed to recover the tax refunds since inception of the company which were never worked upon and never realized from the govt.
• Successfully negotiated with PTCL over long outstanding payment issue out of court convincing PTCL over our point of view.
• Successfully negotiated with PTA over licensing issue
• Successful in obtaining financing from different financial institutions at a cash crunch position and at a time when the solvency of the company was in question.
• Successfully debated with auditors to issue a clean audit report at a time when the auditors were issuing a report with "Going Concern"
• Management Accounts.
• Preparation of routine and non routine management reports, using Crystal Reports
• Yearly, monthly and periodically comparison of statements as and when required.
• Maintenance of database related to sales, cost of sales, payroll, operating expenses and etc

• Product costing and regular updation of more than 250 brands of the company

Achievements
• One of my major contributions towards the company is the designing and implementation of ERP system for the company.
• Established the internal audit department and cost accounting function. As a result, the management is compelled to close a loss making business section on my recommendations.
Secured 3.31 out of a total GPA of 4. Did my majors with Finance. My dissertation was on "Financial Statement Analysis"
