Job Description:
• To process account opening, closing, editing, dormant activation/deactivation as per SOP / CAO policy.
• To process Customers request for cheque books and after completing formalities of account opening.
• Issuance of Term Deposits to account holders after completing all the formalities.
• Scrutinizing, stamping/signing cheques received at the counter for clearing post to the relevant accounts and deliver to (NIFT) clearing house after balancing as per SOP.
• Scrutiny and posting of Inward Foreign Bills for Collection (IFBC)
• Processing of Outward Foreign Bills for Collections (OFBC). Maintaining proper record and follow-up of outstanding OFBC. Also, balancing of OFBC liability.
• Handling local inward & outward remittances, Transfer of funds, issuance/cancellation of (Payment Order, Demand Draft, Telegraphic Transfer, and Call Deposit Receipts) as per customers request in accordance with statutory guidelines of SOP and SBP
• Balancing of outstanding POs, DDs, OBCs, CDR
• Handle FCY inward & outward remittances, Transfer of funds, issuance/cancellation of Foreign Demand Draft (FDD), Foreign Telegraphic Transfer (FTT) as per customers request in accordance with statutory guidelines of SOP and FE Manual.
• Issuance and maintenance of lockers after completing formalities (Locker Agreement, SS card etc.)
• Operational Guidance and Facilitation to other departments.
• Correspondence with branches/head office/area office on operational matters.
• Proper maintenance of departments documents vouchers / registers / other records
