• Involved in commissioning of PABX & networking system at CP7 platform which
owned by Brunei Shell Petroleum.
Key Task • Involved commissioning in KEBABANGAN Platform Operating Company
Responsibilities platform. Platform owned by PETRONAS CARIGALI, SHELL & CONOCOPHILLIPS. Commissioning required installation for CCTV and PABX
system.
• Involved in SONGA 1 commissioning for radio system consist of VHF, UHF and
MFHF.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance of radio system at South Angsi Alpha
platform owned and operated by TALISMAN LTD.
• Involved in both design and commissioning of PAGA and PABX system at
SAMARANG platform that belong to PETRONAS CARIGALI.
• Manages routine and non-routine tasks and attend such meetings as required in order to meet company objectives.
• Responsible to ensure that the optimized design meets performance, safety,
reliability and functional requirements of the Client, and that the product
delivered is of acceptable quality.
• Responsible to produce Single Line Diagram (SLD), Details Mounting Drawing
(DMD) and General Arrangement (GA) Drawing for CCTV, PABX and hotline
system for PETRONAS FLNG, BANYU URIP and ATWOOD project.
• Performing Telecom Internal Acceptance Test (IAT), Factory Acceptance Test
(FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and also provide the technical IAT, FAT and SAT procedures.
• Led technician for equipment setup for Factory Acceptance Test and ensure all
equipment connection followed as per design.
• To participate in the planning and execution of system modifications, expansions or new equipment installations.
• Prepared the functional and detailed design specifications based on the designed system network (GA and Schematics) and customer standard
documentations.
• Responsible in Vendor Products Selection that suitable for the projects with cost
effective.
• Responsible to ensure that the optimized design meets performance, safety,
reliability and functional requirements of the Client, and that the product
delivered is of acceptable quality.
• Responsible for providing prime technical interface and interaction with Client for successful resolution of discipline related scope and technical issues.
• Responsible for planning, managing, prioritizing and scheduling workload and various project activities related to discipline scope
• Reviews alternative methods and solutions for complex telecom engineering
problems and selects the most efficient and economical option to achieve the design objectives and international standards.
• Innovatively applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses engineering
studies and reports within the discipline e.g. System Power consumption, Heat
Dissipation.
• Responsible for engineering activities and deliverables, modeling inputs, project
reporting and design integrity checks/reviews to ensure that all key issues are
identified and mitigated.
• Responsible and quotation of procurement activities starting from technical
inquiry requests (Inquiry Requisitions) to vendors; participate in the technical
evaluation of vendor bid offers. Direct and provide guidance in the Technical Bid
Evaluations (TBE) to order placements, budget/schedule monitoring and vendor
communication.
• Responsible for maintaining the technical quality of the documents and ensure
their delivery in a timely manner.
