I am working as a Shift leader which is responsible for material availability within time frame of production. Making plan for shipments of Finished products, raw and pack material planning from 3PL. Making sure that there should be no down time due to materials unavailability.
Following all tasks within Safety and Quality requirements.
(i) PROCTER & GAMBLE:
I have been working in P&G (Pakistan) as a permanent employee since October, 2010. I have been
working in end to end Supply Chain within P&G Port Qasim Plant. The Core software used for the transactions is that of SAP. Besides this numerous other systems and ownerships have been given and
accountability is done as a regular goings-on.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining the Shift as shift leader ensuring the compliance of all supply chain activities within the QA and HSE constraints and compliances.
To ensure the availability of Raw and Pack material of next day production based on just in time philosophy.
To make the timely shipments of Finished Products.
Logistics planning for the Raw and Pack material Shipments as per the volume of production.
Using the SAP for inventory tracking and trigging in case of any shortage.
To pick the Finished Product and Put it in the desired location based on the Latest
American imported RTCIS technology via scanners.
Ownership of Quality Pillar of Integrated Work System (A unique philosophy of P&G to
work with integration of All departments)
I own the Inspection and Maintenance program for Logistics which includes timely
scheduling and getting the inspection done with the respective staff members.
Contarctors' management that are working in the material handling and packing activities.
Handling the releasing issues of row and pack material from QC.
Planning and ordering of row and pack material to 3PL and then follow up till its reaches on plant.
(ii) LOADS LIMITED:
I have worked in the Loads Limited since July 2009. Here I am working in the MateriaL
Management. The software that is used for inventory control is MRP (Material Resource Planning)
My responsibilities are as follows
Date wise posting and recording of the sales orders.
Controlling of the Procurement and posting of auto parts received from the vendors.
Shipments are also done through MRP.
Plant efficiency of the manufacturing operation is evaluated on monthly basis.
Analyzing on the production plan if there is need of the second shift for the operation.
Minimizing the cost of production.
(iii) SILVER SURGICAL COMPLEX (PVT) LTD:
Before joining Loads Limited I worked in the Silver Surgical for 1 month June 2009 who have a large
set up of Moulding Machines, Job responsibilities were as follows:
Operating the Moulding machines as Trainee Engineer that are caused for production of assembly parts.
Breakdown Maintenance of the moulds and the moulding machines.
Allocating production parts on their respective machine according to the tonnage required for that particular parts as per their clamping force for the mould.
Sorting of the defective parts which divert from the standards.
(iv) Experience with high precision and accuracy in the Pak Swiss Training Center how to manufacture the mechanical parts via different machines comprises of three years and trained on all manufacturing machines..
PROJECTS COMPLETED
• During my training in the Pak Swiss Training Centre, I completed a project of manufacturing a
Bevelled Edge; this instrument includes a highly precision in its straightness and precision of its
angles of 90 degree.
• I have designed a complete mould of a plastic ink bottle cap during training in Pak Swiss.
• MUN (Model United Nation): Moreover I attended an event of MUN being a delegate of " Malawi" in May 2010, organized by the combined efforts of Iqra University and United Nation also jointly certified by these two
organizations.
