Report directly to the CFO/COO while managing the accounting and finance department, including financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, procurement, banking relationships, zakat and taxation, risk management, and project finance. Prepare consolidated and group stand-alone financial statements on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis while also developing financial progress/MIS reports for the Close-end Fund and Group Holding Company.
• Develop and deliver quarterly, semi-annual, and annual corporate budgets, including adopting annual and lifetime project budgets as well as computing periodic comparisons with actuals and related justifications of variances.
• Oversee and support the implementation of strong controls to ensure regulatory compliance across the enterprise.
• Track transactions for bank financing and facilities granted to projects; review and prepare contract terms and conditions for various business deals, agreements, and contracts.
• Collaborate with the CFO and multiple department leaders to align each department's treasury strategy with the organization's overall short- and long-term business objectives.
• Defined and implemented strong internal controls while working with both internal and external auditors to identify and adopt efective risk management strategies and liquidity contingency plans, working to minimize the impact of change market conditions and other related factors on the business.
