The power generation plant in Yanbu Industrial City has a capacity of 1, megawatts. There are nine gas turbine units - eight of. 60 MW each and one of 68 MW - with a total capacity of 620 Megawatt. The plant also has two steam turbine units of 275 MW each with total capacity of 550 MW, and one steam turbine unit of 137 MW. The steam turbine units are capable of supplying auxiliary steam for the adjacent desalination plant in case of emergency.
The gas turbines use sales gas as main fuel for power generation, with diesel (Light Fuel Oil) serving as back-up fuel. The steam turbines use heavy fuel oil (HFO) as primary fuel.
The gas turbines are linked to five heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) that produce t/h of steam. They supply process steam to the desalination and steam turbine plants. Steam is also relayed to the heavy fuel oil tanks at the tank farm to keep the oil at the desired temperature for pumping.

Troubleshooting for the system to rectify chronic and operation faults. Preventive and corrective action maintenance for system enhancement and reliability, delivering power and water with no interruption for our valuable customers in all industrial areas.
Maintenance and testing of power system equipment, protection & automation relays and revenue & metering system for the system reliability and availability of proper operation during the normal operation and isolate the faulty equipment in power system failure.
Testing of Generators, Motors and Transformers periodically to analyze and enhance the life of power system equipment to prevent the power system failure.
with that organization as Testing & Commissioning Lead Engineer, includes installation, testing & commissioning of new Power Transformers, Switchgear (GIS), Capacitor Banks for reactive compensation, Medium & High Voltage switchgears, Station Service transformers, battery banks, battery chargers, AC / DC panels, Relay Control and Protection panels. Testing of all Protection Relays, Command on various Protection & Interlock Schemes and Protection Systems.

Additionally, having good command in ETAP Studies and Process Automation.
I Join as a pioneer & completed all erection up to successful testing & commissioning of their control & protection systems. During run time, corrective and preventive maintenance of processing and writing all preventive maintenance procedure of machines of different areas for scheduling P.M. routines on daily, weekly, monthly & yearly bases. I was responsible for Testing of all protection & control system at annually maintenance basis.
I have done with full responsibility of all types of trouble-shooting for Electrical, Electronics & Instrument problems. Frequency Drives VFD’s for Induction Motor speed control of different version & type’s micro controller based programming up to in (up tokw) DC drive thyristor controlled for all types of dc motor speed control (up tokw).
PLC’s of different types and model for logic control system & Analogue control system of the plant doing running troubleshooting for every type of Electrical & Electronics problem.
Have Hand on experience of PLC’s software for alternation in running system & ability to develop full program according to new requirement of the plant by using ladder logic.
Power Generation:.6MW power generation have (2*5.2+1*2.2 M.W.) WARTSILA engine, ABB generator (K.V.) & control system.
Worked in Power transformer with buchholz relay and mechanical protection for on load & off load, tap changer having over current short circuit differential earth fault under voltage protection.
Utility Area:
Ingersoll Rand Air Compressors having capacity cubic meter feet each. Water treatment plant & waste water treatment plant sand filter, softener, and R O unit. Vapor compressor type chiller (Carrier) of capacity RT. York Chiller RT & RT reciprocating cool water chiller. LPG Storage, Evaporation & Distribution system. Heat Recovery system of KAMCO U.S.A.
