•Reviewing and accepting MEP drawings for the buildings (IFC, Shop drawings etc.) and project documents such as material submittals.
•Liaising with the site team (project directors, project/site engineers) and MEP coordinators on daily basis for site related progress and activities and resolving site related issues.
•Coordinating/resolving materials related issues with the supplier/engineering and ensuring it is as per project specifications and client’s requirements.
•Carrying out inspections by ensuring the execution of MEP services at site is as per the approved layouts/drawings, specifications and any changes are being reflected in the as built drawings.
•Maintaining a positive relationship with the clients by ensuring the works are adhered to specification, local and international regulations/standards such as DEWA, IEC, British standards etc.
•Preparing Method statements (installation and T&C), ITPs, Training manuals, O&M Manuals etc.
•Maintaining logs related to site clearances and inspections for MEP activities.
•Attending meetings for the progress of site inspections and quality related issues with client/contractor.
•Managing and coordinating QA/QC related activities such as internal/external NCRs, inspections etc.with site QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
•Witnessing “FAT” with the client for the materials.
•Ensuring all QHSE policies and procedures are implemented and adhered by the project all the time.
•Involving in recertification activities for ISO by carrying out audits as per ISO standards (ISO9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & OSHAS 18001:2007) on sites and corporate departments and ensuring the policies and procedures are adhered.
•Carried out inspections on site related activities with the consultant.
•Ensured the installation at site was as per latest approved drawings.
•Analyzed and resolved any technical issues related to coordination on site.
•Prepared daily site report and discussed the same with corporate QHSE manager.
•Ensured the closure of internal and external NCRs by coordinating with the site team.
•Ensured all QHSE policies and procedures were implemented and adhered by the project.
•Carried out internal audit as per ISO 9001:2008 prior to external audit.
•Reviewed and compared IFC and approved Shop drawings in order to implement on site.
•Involved in Material Take-off.
•Supervised site installation of electrical services and performed testing (Megger/continuity, RCD, Earthing system test etc.) for the services.
•Coordinated with Project Engineers for site related issues.
