• To conduct different types of training for site workers/supervisors/foremen & engineers.
• Ensuring availability of sufficient welfare facilities as per project requirements.
• Ensuring refresher training for the workers and supervisors.
• To Conduct different types of safety audits (Monthly & Quarterly).
• Conduct & participate in daily toolbox talk meetings prior to start any activity.
• Check suitability and quality of personal protective equipment.
• Monthly fire extinguisher inspection.
• Ensure housekeeping is being done regularly.
• Implementation of client safety rules related to the project site.
• Investigate accident/incidents & near misses and determine probable causes and develop appropriate safety measures to prevent a recurrence.
• Monitor and ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained.
• Inspection of working on a high elevation, fall protection, scaffolding.
• Arrange required safety signboards.
•Carrying out daily inspections for the safety from fire.
• Issuing and checking of permits.
•Monitoring the contractors working on the site. Preparation of safety reports for the prevention of any dangerous circumstances.
•Inspections of hose reels, fire telephones, fire hydrant systems, fuel line systems, SCBA systems, sprinkler systems.
• Fire extinguishers, hose reels, fire Hydrant, MCP, Fuel line system & foam system testing, inspection, and monitoring.
•Carry out MOCK drills and risk assessments.
•To ensure the company policy is implemented according to the rules and regulations of HSE bodies.
•Supervising the Contractor staff.
•Ensure that the design is carried out in a professional manner within the allotted hours
•Report any major technical issues to Section Head Mechanical.
•Take reasonable steps to protect the health and safety of yourself and other people, and comply with fire and health and safety policies at all times.
•Develop man-hour estimates for bids.
•Ensure that all relevant procedures are adhered to.
