- Conduct regular inspections of construction site to verify compliance with project
specifications, codes, and society standards.
- Review project plans and technical documents to understand quality requirements,
specifications, and standards that need to be met.
- Inspect and approve construction materials, such as concrete, steel, and other related to civil
activities, to ensure they meet project requirements, project specifications and are of high
quality.
- Assess the workmanship of contractors and subcontractors to ensure they follow proper
construction techniques and maintain quality standards.
- Monitor, highlight and report safety violations and ensure that construction activities follow
safety protocols and regulations.
- Collect samples of materials and conduct various tests, such as soil compaction, concrete
strength, and tensile test to verify compliance with specifications.
- Document and report any non-conformance issues, deviations, or quality deficiencies, and
work with the project team to resolve them.
- Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, (RFIs in Pakistan, WIR, MIR in
KSA) inspections, tests, and reports for future reference and reporting to project stakeholders.
WIR is Work Inspection Report, MIR is Material Inspection Report.
- Provide regular progress reports to project Quality manager, QC Supervisors and other
stakeholders, communicating any issues and the status of quality control activities.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance quality control procedures and
ensure the highest standards are met.
- Offer technical expertise and guidance to project teams, answering questions and providing
recommendations to maintain quality standards.
- Execution of work as per design, drawings and specifications.
- Layout of Project site for excavation of foundation.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
- Inspection of Reinforcement Works on site as per drawings and specifications.
- Checking the quality of concrete like Slump, Temperature, Cylinder filling etc.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and civil testing laboratory for inspection resolving any unexpected
technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Make surveillance for ongoing activities like formwork, installation of Rebar, Anchor bolt, etc.
- Planning of daily work and toolbox meeting with the workers.
- Supervision of setting out levels of different structural elements using Auto Level.
- To ensure that all construction activities are systematically executed through proper methods.
- Attending coordination meetings, monitor progress of all installation works, handling
troubleshooting of problems at the projects.
- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people
and operatives.
- Supervising and managing the construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and
specifications.
- Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager.
- Analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical
documentation to guide the construction process.
- Planning and overseeing allocating resources, materials and equipment to optimize project
efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and ensure
compliance with engineering and design requirements.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, ensuring their compliance
with industry standards.
- Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays,
cost overruns and safety hazards.
- Ensuring Surface Treatment works, Ancillary works & Overlay works of Heavy traffic lanes,
Light traffic lanes and Fast traffic lanes is according to specifications and standards.
- Ensuring Construction of Road works, Culverts, Cause ways, Retaining walls, Side Drains
and other structural works are according to drawings & specifications.
- To ensure that all the required tests at different stages are done through proper engineering
methods.
