• To Plan, develop and implement HR strategies, recruitment and selection policy, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training & development (internal & external), performance appraisals, job evaluation and management of related issues.

• Recruitment & Selection - Work with senior management to formulate HR plans, manpower objectives, human resource policies and procedures to support the business plan.
• Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees and administering disciplinary procedures

• Comp & Ben - Develop and execute compensation and benefits strategy, which includes salary surveys, salary structures, job leveling, offers, rewards systems, bonuses, medical plan as well as introduction of incentive pay like inflation cover plan and seniority pay etc.

• Labor Camps - Regular visit to camps and conduct regular meetings with camp bosses to resolve the issues related to food quality, living standards, health & safety and related matters.

• Employee Welfare Programme - Work closely with the higher management to develop, implement, monitor and track strategies related to employee welfare programme.

• T & D - Provide current and prospective employees with information about new/existing policies, job duties, working Conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits

• Induction programmes including planning and conducting new employee’s orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.

• QHSE policies compliance - work closely with QHSE department to ensure commitment and compliance to the QHSE policies and procedures at all level.

• Compliances to UAE Labor Law - Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and harassment and recommend changes based on the UAE labor law.

• Public Relations Department - to Work closely with the Public Relations Department to ensure compliance to UAE Laws specially Labor, immigration and industrial laws.

• Ensure smooth operation in Public Relations Department and to ensure no penalties/fines in the process of new/renewal of visas/labor contracts/trade licenses/vehicle insurance etc.

• Database Management System (DBMS) - to ensure the records concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, absenteeism rates, retention rate, headcount, sickness are properly filed and uploaded in ERP ePROMIS/ePRO software.

• Medical Insurance - work closely with the medical insurance person to ensure timely renewal of medical insurance of staff at all level to minimize the cost and to maximize the benefits for staff.

• Investigate and report on duty accidents for insurance claims purposes
