Responsibilities
• Successfully commissioned and optimized water treatment plant, boiler, and RO plant to ensure efficient and uninterrupted supply of utilities.
• Supervision and oversight of daily plant operations and maintenance to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to operational targets.
• Implementation and enforcement of proper chemical handling procedures to prevent spillage and mitigate environmental damage.
• Application of Emergency Response Procedures when necessary to address any chemical spillage or other emergencies.
• Ensuring an adequate workforce during all shifts and supervision of personnel to ensure compliance with safe working procedures.
Responsibilities
• Utilities such as power and Steam Supply, Desalinated Water Supply, Cooling Water Supply / Return, Steam and Condensate Return, Oxygen / Nitrogen Supply to NH3 complex and other plants, Instrument Air / Plant Air Supply, Industrial Wastewater / Sewage, Firewater, Seawater Supply / Return, Chemicals/raw materials supply to the facilities.
• Support the arrangement and facilitation of technical knowledge exchange workshops with major equipment suppliers for Utilities and Global Manufacturing facilities.
• Operations expertise to monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvement programs for Utilities, including remote and field technical advisory support and benchmarking of utilities.
• Direct supervision of chemists and technicians in equipment maintenance and repair activities. Prioritization of safety and environmental protection throughout all plant operations.
• Reviewing project specification with project management to ensure economic design and conformance with Design Basis Scoping Papers, Develop executive level briefings, memos, presentations and documents on capital investment and other special study items.
• Participate in Business Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for any capital investments on assigned Utilities, supporting techno-economic evaluations.
• Direct supervision of chemists and technicians in equipment maintenance and repair activities. Continuous monitoring of facility operation and performance during shifts. Proactive problem-solving to reduce breakdown time and minimize risks associated with equipment failure. Prioritization of safety and environmental protection throughout all plant operations.
• Participate and review the high-level interface management plan with every tenant and analyze propose/potential interface points (Tenants, Infrastructure, Utilities, Hubs, Transportation, Community, Communication etc.)
Responsibilities
• Proficient in operating and maintaining equipment within the compression section, including compressors, pumps, and related instrumentation, to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency.
• Skilled in overseeing operations in the reforming area, including monitoring catalyst beds, temperature, and pressure levels, to facilitate the efficient conversion of raw materials into synthesis gas.
• Experienced in managing synthesis area operations, including ammonia synthesis reactors and associated systems, to produce high-quality ammonia while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling ammonia storage facilities, including tanks and safety systems, to ensure proper storage conditions and mitigate risks associated with handling hazardous materials.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving operational issues in the compression, reforming, synthesis, and storage areas to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
• Implemented preventive maintenance programs and conducted routine inspections to uphold equipment integrity and reliability across the compression, reforming, synthesis, and storage sections of the ammonia plant.
