• Prepare and write technical proposals.
• Supervise and implement department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures and support their development as needed.
• Ensure the execution of operations plans, policies, procedures, and transition plans.
• Oversee the field and lab testing schedule as per project requirements in conjunction with the client/consultant.
• Ensure all customers’ requirements are carried out in accordance with contract specifications, international, and approved in-house policies and procedures.
• Oversee all the worksheets of field and lab testing.
• Analyze the field and lab data for preparing the geotechnical report as per the client’s requirement.
• Organize records and files for plans and ongoing projects, including incoming & outgoing correspondences, project specifications and drawings, lab test forms, and all related ISO forms.
• Prepare geotechnical reports in conformance with related standard test methods and customer requirements.
• Design & oversee and analyze various shallow and deep foundation systems for structures, including conducting calculations.
• Take decisions for the type of foundation types, the necessity for Soil improvement required or not, and technical justifications for recommendations provided in the interpretative report.
• Preparation of Geotechnical Design & Factual Reports.
• Design of shallow & deep foundations.
• Interpretation of field and laboratory test results for geotechnical design.
• Preparation of laboratory testing advices.
• Soil & Rock classification as per USCS, AASHTO & ISRM.
• Correction of borehole logs by interpretation of laboratory test results.
• Verification and approval of laboratory test results conducted in accordance with ASTM/BS/AS at the DECON soil and rock laboratory.
• Preparation of Menard Pressuremeter & Lugeon Test Reports.
• Interpretation/Preparation of Pile Load Test Reports.
• Performance of pile load tests as per ASTM.
• Making liaison and coordination with the employer, in respect of the site issues and concerns and carrying out the requisite correspondence in this regard.
• Preparation of technical and financial bids.
• Supervision of Geotechnical Investigations at site in accordance with ASTM/BS/AS Standards.
• Supervision of in-situ geotechnical tests as per ASTM/BS/AS Standards.
• Preparation of borehole logs as per ASTM/BS/AS Standards.
• Supervision of Geotechnical Investigations at site in accordance with ASTM/BS/AS Standards.
• Supervision Standard Penetration Test as per ASTM/BS/AS Standards.
• Performance of Field Permeability Test as per ASTM/BS/AS Standards.
• Preparation of borehole logs as per ASTM/BS/AS Standards.
