After getting hands on training for Six months as Management Trainee Officer, I currently working in Export Department of the bank and reporting to Senior Managers. As an Export Officer, responsibilities entrusted to me are realization, discounting, Outward remittance, dispatch of export documents, DHL feeding in Alhabib system, endorsement on letter of credit (as per the requirements of international laws of URC and UCP 600) and other varied special nature assignments.
Further responsibilities are maintaining credit limit files per party, completion of export documents as per LC and assignments as appropriate based on skill/experience level. Attend the trade and marketing related training, planning discussion and co-ordinate with Seniors & auditors. Lead a debrief meeting that includes appropriate Seniors and colleagues and identify areas for possible continued improvements in the trade activities.
I am also responsible for engagement management and developing professional working relationships with the clients to deliver engagement expectations, providing advisory and value added services in various aspects of business, review of work performed and development and on-the-job training of internees.
Got knowledge of advances that includes cash and running finance, demand finance, financial guarantees, term finance and consortium finance at CORPORATE BRANCH BATHISLAND Karachi.
Got working knowledge of SBP Departments-Holding Company and Banking Service Corporation and prepared a detailed report on concentration risk at Banking Prudential Regulation Department.
Taught full course of “Laws related to financial services” as a visiting faculty of Sukkur IBA.
Learned operations and procedure of branch banking. Perform effective customer service and management of customer queries. Also got knowledge of trade and banking credit lines.
It is certification provided by a reputed banking institute of Pakistan and it named as JAIBP - Junior Associateship of Institute of Bankers Pakistan. I qualified this exam in first attempt.
First Position in MBA Batch in 2012. Earned “MERIT SCHOLARSHIP” for two semesters at Sukkur IBA. I did 2 Internships during my MBA and I got opportunity of teaching, offered by my Institute's management due to my educational efforts.
