Heading the Operations of Entire Plant that includes Development, Supply Chain, Production, Maintenance & Quality.
Highlights:
• Headed the Plant Quality & Technical Operations, provided leadership for delivery of high quality technical solutions for organizational projects, introduced the culture of Quality & Safety, instill the idea of “ doing it right first time” among the employees, started lean manufacturing & continuous improvement practices in the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained.
• Ensure that products are made as per Quality standards.
• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
• Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
• Report to Top Management on the performance of QMS and any need for improvement.
• Ensure that document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of QMS.
• Ensure that the performance of the QMS is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing stability, adequacy and effectiveness.
• Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
• Maintain active role in internal continuous improvements teams.
• Design, develop and implement Quality Control training programs.
• Coordinate with production teams to maximize product reliability and minimize cost.
• Monitor the Health, Safety and Environment operations.
Highlights:
• Managed the Operational areas of Manufacturing & Quality to ensure that Production targets are met as per Master Production Schedule in accordance with cost, quality and quantity.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, or coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications along with supply chain (arrangement of right material at the right time)
• Maintained the integrity and efficiency in daily operations by enforcing compliance with all company policies, safety, and quality control standards.
• Monitoring the performance of Plant equipment and resources through OEE.
• Ensuring minimum waste by controlling defects & rework, machines breakdown, production & material delays, inventory etc.
• Managed workforce of 100 manpower that includes engineers, supervisors, contractors & labors.
• Ensuring the preventing maintenance of Plant machines, cooling towers, chillers and pumps as per schedule.
• Ensure QMS objectives are met with timely completion of all documentation requirements as per ISO Standard.
• Ensure the Safe operational activities with zero incident/accident rate.
• Ensure the effective management of administration and personnel issues of all subordinates in close coordination with Admin & Personnel dept.
Projects Highlights:
• Successfully installed and commissioned Fire Hydrant System in the company that includes Diesel, Jockey & Duty pump in order to ensure a continuous pressurized supply of water in case of any emergencies.
• Successfully completed EPS Plant Shifting at Karachi Factory involving complete piping work, firefighting system, ventilation system, boiler shifting & supply of utilities in the Plant.
• Successfully completed different types of Plant & Machinery shifting projects.
• Arrangement and Fabrication of Material Handling Equipment’s in the Company through negotiations with the contractors.
• Conduct site surveys on daily basis to monitor project site.
• Successfully completed ERP (Oracle) manufacturing module implementation project.
