Definition and Purpose of the Position
Responsible for organizing shifts, inspection and testing of Fire Management system and for initial response in handling emergencies at plant and housing complex.

Duties & Responsibilities
Principal Responsibilities:
Coordinates / Supervises inspection of all fire equipment / systems
Provides training to Emergency Response Teams.
Respond to emergency calls from plant and housing.
Coordinate with maintenance department for carrying out timely repair and maintenance of any defective equipment.
Ensures implementation of safety procedures in the implementation of safe working practices.
Coordinate with fire team and other departments for better coordination, resulting in enhanced performance through teamwork.
Develop scenarios for conducting emergency drills
Provide leadership and motivation to his team.
Ensure compliance of company policies.
Ensure compliance with IMS requirements and HESQ policy.
Ensure secrecy of PARCO’s confidential and classified information.
Timely completion of departmental performance targets / objectives
Develop systems to provide opportunity, training and guidance to the shift crew for enhancing their knowledge in fire systems.
Administrative control of shifts with respect to their attendance and leaves.
Plant Area rounds to inspect fire equipment.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Routine Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly fire drills for imparting training to ERT members
Logging all activities during shifts in log book.
Simulation exercise for fire fighting and evacuation. (Dummy Drill)
Gas testing of Confined space entries on need basis
Ensure that all equipments under their control are checked and kept undated

Specific responsibility /assignment in HSEQ:
Enhancing awareness of HSEQ system and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001), monitoring and ensuring its effective implementation to meet HSEQ policy and objectives of the Organization.
WORK HISTORY:
Presently I Am Working in Pakarab Refinery Limited Qasba Gujarat Multan as Fire Chief in HSE from 8 July 2013 to date.
Previously worked as Sr officer HSE in ATTOCK REFINERY
