Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fit sessions and make necessary pattern and grading adjustments
- Develop and maintain garment specifications, patterns, and grading charts
- Collaborate with designers to ensure designs are producible and meet quality standards
- Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished garments
- Identify and address any production issues or defects
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in garment technology
- Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and quotes for garment production
- Support the costing team in analyzing production costs, fabric yields, and labor costs
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient plant layouts to maximize production capacity and minimize costs
- Use AutoCAD to create detailed 2D designs of plant layouts, including machinery placement and material flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure layouts meet operational requirements
- Conduct site visits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Develop and maintain accurate records of plant layouts, including drawings and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in denim manufacturing and plant layout design
