• Manage changes initiated for consolidation of systems and process practices across the organization subsequent to DUBAL and EMAL merger as EGA \[Emirates Global Aluminium\]
• Establishment and implementation of IT Project Management Methodologies and standards that facilitate the completion of projects and programs within agreed timelines, budgets at acceptable level of quality and risk
• Manage IT Project life-cycle from objectives agreement, scope detailing, initiation, execution, control and completion, knowledge transfer at Go-Live and formal closure
• Status update and reporting of all assigned projects to PMO office and SAP project portal
• Team Management including internal and external vendors to ensure project deliverable and timelines are met
• Manage IT Infrastructure Change, Capacity and Configuration Management Processes
• Coordination with layers of management and stakeholder teams during approval and execution phases
• Prepare project plans and reports to stakeholders and associated Change Management process; assess the risk to project execution and propose remedial measures
• Manage IT Service Delivery for Middle East and North Africa Honeywell operations
• Manage a team of 10 engineers placed around GCC region to provide infrastructure and customer support services.
• Coordination and management of LAN / WAN implementation and upgrade projects
• Management of corporate policies, processes and procedures
• Vendor Management: Equipment Suppliers, Service Providers and others
• Third Party resource management: Managing outsourced resources for running projects
• Liaise with compliance and audit teams for implementation and validation of standard practices
• Day to day Administration of IT Systems including Servers, Network, Telecom systems and inventory management.
• Incident Management: Customer request / complaints recording and prioritization, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Active Directory Administration / Microsoft Exchange, Installation and management
• Weekly and Monthly reports for the management.
• Training and assisting Helping users in different office applications / Emails.
Key Projects
•Implemented a company wide portal for management of requests for items returned as RMA from submission till closure; improving tracking and customer satisfaction.
• IT Support to office users and site engineers at project sites
• Manage the local Network comprising Switches, Windows 2000 Server & computers with windows operating systems, printers, plotters, Scanners etc.
• Web Development, Designing. Administration of online website and maintenance, update of the online database
