The following duties and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for book keeping.
2. Responsible for preparing vouchers, posting into FIS in proper Head of accounts.
3. responsible for maintaining the accounting system (FIS)
4. Processing purchase orders, invoices, cheque requests and contract payments.
5. Ensuring purchase orders, receiving and invoices are matched.
6. Processing and maintenance of encumbrances i.e Fee for Service Contracts, Lease Agreements, Rental Agreements, etc
7. Cash safely deposited into bank account.
8. Balance Regularly reconciliations with Head Office
9. Ensure that all advances deducted and transferred to Head Office and regularly follow up to settle the unadjusted advances.
10. Provides reports as required by Finance management team.
11. Manage petty cash / imprest account at area level and process payments out of this.
12. Monthly Bank Reconciliations of all bank accounts that maintained in area level
13. Monthly MIS vs. FIS Reconciliations of all receivable accounts of branches.
