Currently, I am working in Multan chemicals pakistan as a DCS shift engineer/Shift Supervisor at
Air Separation unit.
In Air separation unit, our main job is to operate and control process parameters of :
1) high pressure distillation column for Nitrogen
2) low pressure distillation for oxygen production
3) Argon distillation column.
4) observe process parameters and controlling of Expander-turbine for safe and efficient operation.
Working in this large manufacturing environment as a shift engineer my responsibilities are followings:
Monitoring, recording and maintaining process parameters like temperature, Acidic value, Viscosity, Pip
, solid and gloss of long, medium and short oil products.
Planning and Execution daily & monthly production schedule, process including material and man power management.
Re-settling and re-arrangement of production formula and recipe as per requirement and availability of raw materials.
Supervising all manufacturing activities including processing of chemical and quality management.
Periodic and regular checking, and fulfill schedule maintenance, and shutdown activities of plant equipment’s.
Maintain high standard of housekeeping at plant.
Daily reporting to production manager about production, manpower etc.
Also experienced of process parameters recording and maintaining, controlling of plasticizers likes
1) Dioctyl-Phthalate
2) Dibutyl phthalate
3) Dioctyl Tere phthalate
Duties and responsibilities: (Plasticizer DOP, DIBP and DOTP)
Worked in this large manufacturing environment my responsibilities are followings:
I have the ability to make plasticizers (Di-octyl phthalate, Di-butyl phthalate and Di-octyl Tere phthalate) recipes and production formula’s as per production requirement and raw materials availability.
Monitoring, recording and maintaining process parameters of plasticizers:
(1) Dioctyl-Phthalate (Dop)
(2) Dibutyl phthalate (DiBP)
(3) Dioctyl Tere phthalate (DoTP)
Performing tests of DOP, DIBP and DOTP through various stages of production
Working with others to ensure maximum output levels and efficient running of the production facility.
Coordinating with Electrical, Mechanical, Instrument, Store and dispatch and Quality control departments to ensure smoothly working of plant.
Efficiently and smoothly management of shift manpower to get maximum product.
Duties and responsibilities: ( Alkyd Resin Products )
Monitoring, recording and maintaining process parameters of Alkyd Resins:
(1) Long Resin
(2) Medium Resin
(3) Short Resin
Performing tests of alkyd Resin throughout the various stages of production.
Assessing and analyze the quality of long, medium and short alkyd Resin.
Duties and responsibilities : ( Biodiesel and Tar )
Worked here in different sections like Pre-esterification, Trans-esterification and Distillation area.
Routine maintenance of distillation column and their packing materials for maximum production.
Share status of boiler, compressors, cooling towers, pumps and motors of plant on daily basis.
Routine maintenance of pumps, motors, strainers and heat exchangers .
Efficient and smooth management of shift manpower to get maximum productivity regarding safety.
Regular and routine maintenance of different process equipment like pump strainers, heat exchanger and cooling tower.
Worked here as a shift Engineer to record and keep a logbook of the work completed.
Daily reporting to production manager about production, manpower etc.
