As an Accountant and Grant Assistant I have performed the Following Duties:
Worked there by using ISCALA customized software.
Punching data in ISCALA extracted from financial documents.
Checking accuracy of accounting records.
Performing Bank reconciliation.
Preparation and handling of cheques.
Preparation of salaries, allowances and other benefits of the employees.
Maintaining Accounting records to be used for Audit purpose.
Preparation and maintenance of Financial Statement.
Cooperation with auditors to conduct audit process.
As a Grant Assistant I have performed the following responsibilities:
Preparation of Quarterly Progress report of the organization to be presented by the Grant Manager to Grantors.
Assist with the grant making process and providing links between program, finance and other administrative staff so that all grant making activities are smoothly implemented.
Respond to grant seekers’ requests for information and assist with the application process.
Acknowledge receipt of proposals and maintain systems for tracking proposals within the office.
Participate in the general administration of Fund, attend staff meetings, staff retreats and board meetings as needed or requested.
Coordinate routine correspondence with grantees, applicants and others.
