Provide management with regular reports relating to the efficiency of IT systems.
Job encompasses the regional responsibilities for all IT related business of ADFS affiliates in terms of
management, supervision, budget, vendor selections, system control & monitoring.
Provide leading and do so in coordination with MD and NBAD ITD.
Seek inputs and feedback from users and identify new systems require to support business, cost effectively.
Ensure effective disaster recovery plan is in place
Strategic
Provide leadership and professional guidance to ensure the organization’s IT strategy support the business objectives.
Develop the IT plan for the organization and formulate an IT Budget in line with business objectives; ensure achievement of the plan within budgetary limits.
Draw appropriate IT Policies and Procedures that conform to the requirements of the organization and implement the same.
Identify appropriate resources for the IT Organization and ensure adequate training inputs are provided, monitor staff performance and provide periodic feedback.
Seek inputs and feedback from users and identify new systems require to support business, cost-effectively.
Operational
Oversee all IT implementation assignments, including software, hardware and networking infrastructure.
Seek, review and analyze proposals from vendors, consultants and suppliers, select the most appropriate partners, and negotiate with them to obtain the best possible deal for the Group, commercially and technically.
Oversee vendor execution of contractual obligations and periodically renew maintenance contracts with vendors.
Supervise operations of all IT outsourced services and draft appropriate contractual agreements (in consultation with the legal department) with these service providers.
Install and oversee the management of a Help Desk to provide service to internal users for resolution of hardware, software and network issues.
Develop and implement a disaster recovery plan.
Maintain all IT and Communications infrastructure and report issues to relevant vendors.
Oversee operations and storage of voice communication and other important Trade-related information i.e. emails and other electronic transmissions.
Maintenance of Local Area Network
Resolving and troubleshooting network issues and problems
Maintaining Backup jobs using ArcServe
Configuration and Troubleshooting of Windows Servers, SQL server, exchange server.
Configuration and Maintenance of CISCO products such as router and firewall.
Designing networks and recommending security issues.
Configuration and Maintenance of Local Area Network
Maintaining Data Backups using ArcServe
