Inspection, Testing and commissioning of HV & LV cables for 33kv, 66 kV, 132kV, cable
Projects
Cable route patrolling of Transmission cables, supervise the contractor's site works in the
cable vicinity.
Executed various test in cable like Sheath test, Phase Verification, IR Test, HVAC Test, Joint
bay earth resistance, Conductor Resistance, SVL Integrity test etc.
Testing works of 132 kV Pilot cables. 14 Pair and 20 Pair Cables
Fault locating in Sheath fault / Conductor fault / Pilot cable fault and repairing of Power
/Pilot Cables and cleared all kinds of fault in the shortest time.
Preparing daily report, weekly progress report, reporting to Project Engineer regarding
day to Day site works.
Confirming 100% safety in site & Inspecting the work as per specification (Method
statement).
Attending meeting with consultants and contractors to review work progress
Review and comments on drawings, method statements and all types of documents
submitted by the contractors.
Supervision of cable laying activities and all associated activities up to400 kV Voltage
Level
Take over the Project by inspecting all the machinery condition, man power etc.
Preparing defect lists before final completion of projects
Assists the Project Manager in inspecting in the discipline of electrical and all associated
equipment’s, material, construction etc.
Inspects all sites regularly and reports to superiors on the site compliance of the project
execution
Inspects & monitors execution of projects in accordance with the design specifications
assigned for the project
Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the Project Manager.
Review and approvals for all material / technical submittals / shop drawing / technical
query
and coordinating
Attending all types of faults in protection and control circuits of the transmission
system
Ensure that all activities at site conform with the quality standards set by the company
Regularly coordinate with the contractor to immediately address site problems,
important issues and any other urgent assistance they may require from time to time
Routine relay testing & maintenance of 400, 220KV, 132/11KV Substation
Prepare daily and weekly accomplishment reports for project monitoring.
Witnessing of Trip logic tests and closing interlocks
Witnessing of Transformer REF and Differential Stability & Sensitivity checks.
Witnessing of 132 KV, 11 KV CT primary injection and CT/VT secondary injection for
circuit checks.
Witnessing of different schemes D.C Scheme and TCS/TSS scheme checks.
Witnessing of testing and commissioning activities at different voltage level 400 KV
132/11 KV Substations.
Major modification and Protection works in substations equipment .
Any other duties assigned from superiors from time to time.
Experience of Site Notes, Snags, weekly Programs and Overall Site Co-ordination.

Annual maintenance Testing of substation equipment’s of different ratings, make and voltage
levels like Power Transformers, C.T, P.T, 11 kv Panels
Calculation of Relay settings, Testing of Electromechanical, static and numerical Relays
Have experience of trouble shooting in the protection/control wiring
Provide assistance to contractor’s queries and problems at site.
Knowledge of transformer protection Transformer Differential Protection
Checking of various equipment schemes.
Calibration of Energy Meters, volt meters. Ammeters and transducers.
Involved in erection, installation and commissioning of 48 MW power lines of combined
cycle Power lines power project WAPDA, Pakistan.
