• Supervise the running of drilling fluid, mixing, pumping and chemical treatment.
• Prepare an optimum solution of drilling fluid according to the requirement of drilling phases.
• Checking & maintaining mud properties filing out various daily reports.
• Ensuring safety & HSE in drilling fluids related areas on site.
• Assist cement department in cementation job.
• Developing & communicating rig specific fluids management plans, work safely and insure that all safety standards are met and maintained.
• Provide information regarding job progress: problems, solutions and accurate job data.
• Provide operational advice on equipment technical & operational specifications in professional manner.
• Record operational data and complete job documentation as set out.
• Ensure the company assets on location are maintained in good working order and are protected from damage and that adequate supplies, equipment are present at well site at all times.
• Monitor drilling operations to troubleshoot drilling fluids problems on a day to day basis.
• Review fluids program to prepare mixing plans as well as orders.
• Manage Product inventory.
• Analyze data from tests and record the results to identify trends in the sector.
• Monitor rig personnel recording drilling fluid measurements and chemical analysis through supervision.
• Identify contaminates and ensure their eradication.
• Advice on potential treatments or improvements to the fluid system based on data analysis and mud testing.
• Determine the causes of fluid, hole, or system problems to assist in treatment recommendation.
• Determine chemical treatments required to optimize drilling parameters.
• Maintains good working relationship with service representative and rig personnel.
• Knowledge of Drilling Waste Management & Solids Control.
• Have good Track record of successfully analyzing implementing Drilling Fluid solutions.
• Have Ability to create, develop and nurture relationships.
• Have Experience of managing budgets.
• Have ability to manage projects and meet the specific requirements.
WELL TYPES & DEPTH
• Worked in South areas of Pakistan on different oil and gas wells, vertical, HTHP & deep wells.
• Worked on wells of different depths which ranges from 1000m to 4500m
DAILY BASE DRILLING FLUID’S PARAMERER’S TEST’S
• Practically perform tests of all required drilling fluid’s parameters, S.G, March Funnel viscosity (Fann Modal 6, 8 Speed Viscometer PV, YP, GEL), PF, MF, PM, Cl, Ca, MBT, W/L (low/high temperature water Filtrate test), Cake, Retort test’s (Solids%, Oil%, Water %) & Sand %.
• Understand basic drilling fluids calculations, Rheology & Hydraulics optimization.
