Muhammad Kashif Aujla has gained an excellence in practical knowledge of accounting and auditing and experienced a diversity of statutory audits as well as agreed upon procedures assignments of significant corporate clients in Pakistan comprising of public listed and unlisted, private and multinational organisations in line with IFRS, ISAs and other compliance frameworks. During his stay at Horwath Hussain Chaudhury & Co. he has successfully performed the following responsibilities:
Initial planning of the job and identifying risk areas during the process of audits in accordance with firm’s audit methodology and planning audit procedures required to cover this risk
Ensuring that clients are meeting with all the terms and conditions of their debt covenants and if these financial arrangement are posing any risk on their future operations
Performing recalculation procedure for markup and repayments of short / long term borrowings, finance lease and ijarah arrangements
Preparation, consolidation, presentation and analysis of financial statements
Translation of financial statements of foreign business areas in local currency
Extensive application of the International Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting Standards, International Auditing Standards, Corporate Laws and Taxation and; reviewing statutory financial statements to ensure compliance therewith
Training, supervision and developing coordination and team spirit amongst the audit engagement team to accomplish demanding jobs within the time, quality and budget targets
