• As System Engineer, responsible to ensure the availability and reliability of IT Systems, Network and IT Services by providing L1 and L2 Technical Support to US client's computer software that is comprised of Servers, Desktop, Notebook and Microsoft Surface computers, printers and other peripherals.
• Responsible for satisfactory resolution of all end-user information technology requests including software, hardware, network and systems support request.
• Troubleshoots issue with desktop computers, printers, scanners and peripherals, resolve problems and update root cause/resolutions in the Connectwise CRM Online Portal.
• Responsible to troubleshoot issue with the Starwood Hotels ERP Application Galaxy Light Speed, Secure CRT, ISAC) and accounts Applications Sage Act 2015, Opera IHG, QuoteWerks, QuickBook 2013, Goldmine.
• Responsible for Servers maintenance and troubleshooting issues with diverse Server logs and Event IDs.
• Maintains an appropriate level of expertise in client hardware configuration and troubleshooting, network desktop software packages and in business unit specific application and systems implementations.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery Management through Symantec Backup Exec 2012 and Windows Server Backup.
• Resolving problems both directly from customer and through technical escalation to Seniors Engineer.
• Respond to incoming company IT services desk enquiries, log and deal with appropriately, escalate any enquiries that need further investigation according to the company IT services desk escalation procedure.
• Implements all hardware and software updates after evaluating them for their impact on resources, security and performance. Installs / updates client software on all user PCs in accordance with defines procedures.
• Troubleshoot network problems and carries out performance tuning and optimization on desktop computers.
• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Responsible for maintaining, monitor and configurewired &wireless network infrastructure of US Clients by using PRTG Network Monitoring Tool and AVGManaged Workplace.
• Configure, monitor and maintain current Network and Server infrastructure which includes Windows Domain Controller, File Server, and Internet Sharing Server.
• Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and ISP and Power outages, scheduling upgrades, collaborating with ISPs vendor on network optimization.
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.The support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
My Job role is to perform the operation of IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization, my job responsibilities are under below:
• Acts as a coordination point regarding IT inventory management, user requirement analysis, hardware maintenance and replacement plan, Software updating and apply Software patches.
• Manage Local Area Network and Wide Area Network with Support Team to ensure the connectivity between more than 200 nodes, Printers and Servers.
• Maintain Windows Domain Environment (Microsoft Server 2008) using Active Directory with company defined policies and procedures.
• Documented Network& Server infrastructure, Email System on Microsoft Visio.
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
• Responsible to provide Level 1 & 2 desktop support through Remote Manager to resolve issue on high priority.
• Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software Manage Engine Help Desk MSP and controlling issues and complain through the helpdesk tracking with standard of ITIL framework.
• Monitoring usage to ensure security of data and access privileges, installing, supporting and maintaining both physical and virtual network servers and appliances.
• Maintaining user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security, performs daily server backups, researches, analysis and monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving server or data network problems.
• Developing, maintaining and implementing network support, and archiving procedures; researches and evaluating new technologies related to computer networking.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain Network issues through Cisco Manage Switches and Firewalls.
• Responsible for designing and implementation Network Infrastructure for new department if required.
• Managed Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.
• Submit recommendations to Executive Director about purchase of new technology resources.
• Communicates effectively with internal Users to identify needs and evaluate alternative user solutions.
• Implement high security, installed software and patches, manage Network Switches and Firewalls backup and recovery, troubleshooting and installation of Servers on HP G5 Server Machine.
• Build and maintain relationship with vendors and manage purchase of hardware and software products.
• Generate Service desk reports to IT management and Handle the required documentation of IT department.
• Assist in planning, coordinating and consulting with vendors for hardware purchases, product services and support; recommending and specifying the purchase of related products and services; keeping current regarding new hardware/software products for system enhancement.
• Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses and Keys in Manage Engine Hardware Inventory software.
• Maintains an appropriate level of expertise in user hardware configuration and troubleshooting, network desktop software packages and in business unit specific application and systems implementations.
• Performing scheduled network tasks, updating Anti-virus definition files, monitoring Network & Servers, and providing internet and LAN user support, and specialized training.
• Configuring, administering, maintaining and backup of EXSi VM 5.0 through Client Tool VSphere.
• Establishment and maintaining user E-mail Accounts, managing anti-spam and anti-virus servers, researches and troubleshooting e-mail problems by reviewing mail logs, records, and networking configurations.
• System hardware and software, analyzes and troubleshoots the network logs and tracks the nature and resolution of problems.
As Network Administrator; implemented security, configuration disk storage, installed software and patches, managed devices backup and recovery, troubleshooting and installation of Operating systems (XP Professional, Server2003) and also maintained.
Assembled and upgrade hardware and installed software
Manage Local Area Network scenario of between 20 nodes.
Manage Microsoft Server 2003 using AD environment.
Installation of Network components devices and cabling also troubleshoot.
Print out all kind of documents; specially excel reports and crystal reports using A4 and Legal size paper, also shared Laser Printer over network.
Managing, updating and keeping records on Visual Basic Software
Web browsing, searching, E- mailing via outlook express and also configure it via POP and SMTP protocol.
Weekly Backup of all data on DVD-R media and External Hard Drive.
