Electrical engineering with 16+ years of versatile experience specializes in all kind of Oil Refinery & Power Plant Stationary/Rotary Equipment Maintenance along with its planning (Maximo), associated codes & standards at Sectional head level possessing strong leadership, technical and problem solving skills. Currently I am working as Senior Engineer/Incharge Electrical with Attock Group of Companies at Attock Refinery Ltd which is state of the art refinery with a name plate capacity of 53, 400 barrels per day (bpd).
As a Incharge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) at Attock Gen Ltd (AGL), a Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) with a generation capacity of 165 MW, 132KV grid station and electrical utality, I spearheaded numerous critical tasks to enhance plant performance and operational efficiency. Managed plant operation and maintenance activitiesas per OEM manual, meticulously preparing monthly maintenance reports to track progress and identify areas for optimization.
Supervised Load Flow, Short Circuit, Optimal Power Flow, Relays Coordination Analysis and Ground Grid Modeling conducted by M/S: Descon at Attock Gen Ltd & Attock refinery Ltd, performed the above-mentioned analysis of power plant at full load to check the electrical parameters on each generator, bus and feeder to evaluate the rated loading of equipment’s as per design by using ETAP Electrical Transient Analyzer Program, a load flow analysis software.
During my tenure as Assistant Electrical Engineer at Wärtsilä Pakistan, stationed at Nishat Power Ltd (CCPP) near Phool Nagar, I actively contributed to the operational excellence of one of the nations leading modern combined cycle power plants boasting a 200 MW capacity. My responsibilities included meticulously planning future operations, implementing robust electrical system protection measures, overseeing maintenance activities, and meticulously budgeting for spare parts to ensure seamless operations.
Limited, I played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a plant boasting an 86 MW capacity. My duties encompassed overseeing a diverse range of power generation equipment, including PLC-based 48 MW HFO operated Niigata Japan engine sets, 24 MW Gas operated Caterpillars (3520C), 12 MW Gas operated Jenbachers (JGS620), and 4 MW Gas operated Guascor engines.
During my tenure as a Trainee Electrical Engineer at Unitec Power Services, Faisalabad, I gained invaluable hands on experience in the maintenance, operation, and erection services for Diesel & Gas Power Plants across the country. Throughout my training, I actively engaged with various types of gas and diesel engines, including Niigata, Caterpillar, Jenbacher, Guascor, Mans, Wakishaw, and Perkins. I participated in diverse tasks of power plant operations, maintenence and electrical systems.
