• Manage the entire Network/System infrastructure of University (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Implement cybersecurity measures in University, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and regular security audits. Establish policies for user access, data encryption, and incident response
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices
• Configure and maintenance of the Microsoft Servers. Set up regular backups of critical data and system configurations. Use Group Policy to enforce security policies and access controls. Managed active directory, File Server and Web Server. Use Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for centralized patch management
• Create and manage Virtual LANs (VLANs) to segment and optimize network traffic.
• Using Hyper-V, manage virtual machines, allocate resources, and ensure high availability
• Design the network with redundancy to minimize downtime in case of hardware failures.
• Monitor and manage network bandwidth to ensure that it is distributed efficiently and fairly among all users.
• Manage the different project i.e. to design the network infrastructure, purchase Networks equipment’s, printers and computers
• Ensure that all the University systems and software are kept up to date with security patches and updates
• Educate faculty, staff, and students about cybersecurity best practices and the importance of maintaining a secure computing environment.
• Interaction with end users (i.e. employees of different departments) to provide support regarding network related issues like connectivity with servers, PCs and other equipment’s on the LAN/WAN
