Major responsibilities:
As Geotechnical Leader of Project Manager Consultancy (PMC) major responsibilities for above Design & Build projects comprises:
• Geotechnical Design review of seawalls, breakwater, quay walls, stability analyses, bearing capacity, settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses, compaction, ground improvements.
• Contract management of the geotechnical aspects including material suitability for reclamation, quality control of the reclaimed material, implementation and quality control of ground improvement works, geotechnical monitoring
• Overseeing geotechnical site teams for three projects
Major responsibilities include:
• Project management of Qurum Heights Road project in Oman
• Geotechnical design of bridges, viaducts, underpasses and interchanges of King Abdul Aziz road and Al Wahda street in Sharjah - comprise more than 10 structure
• Palm Jebel Ali - C2 Tunnel linking the Crescents - Tender design of cut and cover tunnel, extensive PLAXIS/PLAX Flow analyses,
• Palm Jebel Ali - C1, C3 and C4 Bridges linking the Crescents - Pile design, pile load tests (O-Cell)
• Palm Jebel Ali - M1, M3 Bridges linking the Crescent with mainland - Pile design
• Yas Island Development, Abu Dhabi, UAE - Pile design of various bridges, and flyovers
• Sheikh Khalifa Highway (Shahama - Saadiyat Freeway), Abu Dhabi, UAE - Pile design of 5 bridges
• Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Zone E, Water front development, Karachi, Pakistan - Ground improvement through Wick Drains and Pre-loading
• Planning, commissioning, preparing specification, tendering, awarding, supervising and geotechnical investigations.
• Design calculations related to bearing capacity, settlement analysis, liquefaction analysis, pile vertical and lateral capacities, soil and rock modulii, stability of slopes.
• Mina Al Arab development in Ras Al Khaimah - Analysis of reclamation fill and verification testing by CPT
• Umm Al Quwain Marina - Design of reclamation fill testing and supervision
• Chemical factory site in Hamriyah Free Zone Sharjah - Supervision of Dynamic Compaction and verification testing through Menard Pressuremeter
• Managing and storing geotechnical site investigation data in AGS 3 format using HoleBase, KeyAGS, KeyHole, etc.
• Development and management of MS Access database to mange site investigations in Middle East and Pakistan region.
• Development of design worksheet solutions for pile capacity calculations, bearing capacity and settlement analysis and liquefaction analysis.
• Preparation of geotechnical investigation interpretative reports

Major responsibilities include:
• Slope stability analyses of natural and cut slopes of internal roads of proposed new town near Mangla Damsite and Mirpur city.
• Design and specification of reinforced earth slopes to face angle as steep as 90 degrees using geogrid with flexible rap around construction.
• Design coordinator for New Town roads.
Major responsibilities include:
• Project Manager for Abu Dhabi Municipality Projects’ geotechnical investigations (under ADSS Contracts 160/2 & 160/3) including field and laboratory investigations, geotechnical design and reporting dealing with Hyder Consulting as Consultant. So far handled about 45 sites in Abu Dhabi Emirate involving a total of about 1500 boreholes
• Prepared geotechnical investigation report for design of two interchanges along Abu Dhabi - Dubai expressway at Khalifa City A involving piles for bridges, shallow foundation for structure covering Gas Pipelines, upto 10.0m high approach embankment of reinforced earth dealing with Consultant M/s Mott MacDonald
• Prepared geotechnical investigation report for design of a bridge and an underpass at Mussaffa, Abu Dhabi, UAE dealing with Consultant M/s. Frederic R. Harris
• Key geotechnical engineer for design of a bridge between Al Habal Abyadh and Al Fahid Islands and roads in Al Fahid Island involving off-shore as well as on-land investigation dealing with Consultant M/s Rendel Palmer & Triton
• Project Manager for geotechnical investigations for 250 km water transmission pipeline (2x1600mm dia. pipes) from Shuweihat to Mussaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE through hilly, Sabkha (thick salt deposits in Gulf coast) and desert
• Prepared geotechnical investigation reports for a number of high rise buildings upto 23 storeys in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Major responsibilities include:
• As a team member, involved in Feasibility study of Raising of Mangle Dam Project (Phase-I), major involvement being in stability analysis of all dams, embankments and spillway.
• Key geotechnical engineer for supervision of geotechnical investigations, foundation (pile) design, supervision of pile load testing, interpretation of results for four underpasses along Lahore Canal at Mustafabad, Mall Road, Ferozpur Road and New Campus, Lahore-Pakistan
• Key geotechnical engineer for supervision of geotechnical investigations, foundation (pile) design, supervision of pile load testing, interpretation of results for over-bridge at Garhi Shahu, Lahore-Pakistan
• Key geotechnical engineer for supervision of geotechnical investigations, foundation (pile) design, supervision of pile load testing, interpretation of results for over-bridge at Cavalry Ground, Lahore
