Handles all purchasing processes from receipt of requisition, classification, sourcing supplier and development of tender/enquiry documents in co-ordination with requester’s requirements and issue of tenders.
Arranges and coordinates pre-bid /post Purchase Order site visits and clarification meetings with the prospective bidders; seeks clarifications from prospective suppliers and coordinates with user departments for resolution and issues tender bulletins to all prospective suppliers, modifying scope of supply as necessary.
Evaluates commercial offers received from different vendors/suppliers, including preparing comparison sheets; coordinating with requesters regarding technical justifications for selecting more expensive tenders. Conducts commercial negotiation with vendors as necessary.
Negotiation with vendors for finalization of prices & order preparation and participated in the process of Negotiation, Finalization & Procurement of Material
and responsible for record maintains.
Follow up with suppliers for on time delivery of materials and co-ordination with respective projects and Responsible for Purchase Enquiry, Quotation Analysis, release of orders by ERP.
Responsible for collating prices, clauses, discount structure and terms & conditions from a legal perspective prior to contract signature and prepares and maintains standard contractual template documentation ensuring consistency and continual improvement.
Review of supplier standard documentation for services where required.
Build relationships with vendors/suppliers.
Working in conjunction with a number of project teams ensure the timely and cost effective delivery of all services, items and materials to agreed project milestones and develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and storing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies and Manage supplier performance and maintain supplier evaluation procedures.
