Currently Working as Team Lead for Digital Processing System (D.P.S), a USA based company. D.P.S has its head office in New York.
Following are my core responsibilities as Senior Software Engineer: • Create new reports and forms as per User requirements.
• Get output from my juniors.
• Give support to the users in case of any problem.
• Looking a web based application made in Java.
Achievement
I have converted the form 6i application to Form 10g application server. I have made the changes according to Solaris environment because previously 6i application was running in windows environment.
Automate some of the processes that take a lot of time. I have made automation forms that run the processes automatically when the timer expired.
Engro Foods Limited - Sep, 2007 to Aug, 2008
Worked as Database Developer for Engro Foods Ltd., wholly owned subsidiary of Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited. Engro Chemical which is listed on all major stock exchanges of Pakistan is the second largest producer of Urea fertilizer in Pakistan and was formerly Exxon Chemical Pakistan Limited.
In my role as a database developer some of my main responsibilities are: • Maintenance and administration of 'Sales Module' and designing and adding changes as required
• Installation and configuration of 'Oracle Server' and related 'Clients and Tools' at various clients' sites.
• Maintenance and administration of the structure of the database.
• Designing new forms and reports on user requests as per their needs and requirements.
• Maintenance and administration of the orders database of all distributors.
• Maintenance and administration of scheme or other rates according to requirements.
• Maintenance of record of trade offers.
I have worked as Oracle Developer and Database Administrator in Haidri Beverages (Pvt) Ltd., the franchise bottler of Pepsi Cola International in Pakistan. I was working on a multi-user environment on oracle based software with more than 50 users accessing the database online and was responsible for the maintenance and administration of the following main modules:
• Sales & Shipping
• Payroll
• Inventory
• Accounting and Financial Reporting
• Cash Module
Following were some of my main responsibilities:
• Administration of Oracle Server, Clients and tools at various customers' sites.
