Responsible for providing quality E & I maintenance services & expertise for the smooth operation of plant, based on SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module to maintain the history of electrical system and performed preventive, corrective & major overhauling activities at Gas/Dual Fuel engines, Diesel Gensets, transformers, switchgear, HT/LT circuits, calibration & function testing of instruments, troubleshooting & analysis of equipment failure, spares inventory management. Planning & execution of projects, vital role in Engineering Procurement Construction Installation & Commissioning (EPCIC) of all major modifications at plant.
EPIC of 790 kVA Deutz Genset with ComAp controller at plant site.
EPIC of 2000 A /400 V LV switchgear panels including ATS, ACBs, AMF, PFI & distribution panels
EPIC of dedicated 11 kV line and 630 A VCB at WAPDA Grid for PPL plant site.
EPIC of 11kV/400V overhead line, installation of power transformer.
EPIC of Motor control center for soft, ASD & DOL starters.
EPIC of temperature controller (Anthon, Brain child, Redline USA) for 1.4 MW Gas/dual fuel engines.
Re-commissioning of engine safeties/instrumentation of 1.4 MW dual fuel engines.
Automation of Diesel Genset with Deep Sea controller & engine safeties revamping.
Establishment of fully equipped Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation & calibration work shop.
Development of Standard Operating Procedures and PM plan for E & I equipments.
Establishment of ATS/Change over Panels & laying of HT/LT power cables.
Self Proving Vehicle Grounding system for HSD decanting pumps, working on SCADA for wells.
E & I spares inventory management & schedule holdings by using SAP.
Telecommunications, IT equipments & CCTV cameras surveillance system.
Lead role in implementation of QHSE, 5 S standards and Audit/certification
04 years tenure responsibilities are to sustain comprehensive electrical system for which carries out complex preventive & corrective maintenance activities, repair/service of electrical equipments, troubleshooting and analysis of equipment failure as required, performs electrical modification in plant to improve the efficiency of equipment /plant, shift coverage in 13.8 KV substation and overall maintenance during annual TA, accurate records keeping.
Also involved in installation and commissioning of new switchgear for DAP plant.

Transformers rated up to 12 MVA (ABB, AEG).
Motors MV/LV rated up to 1.1 MW / 250 KW (GE, VEM, Siemens)
Switchgear (AEG, ABB, Merlin Gerlin, Siemens)
HV SF6 Circuit Breaker rated up to 2500 Amp/13.8 kV.
MV Vacuum Circuit Breakers rated up to 3000 Amp/2.4 kV.
MV Contactor Rated up to 400 Amps.
LV Air Circuit Breakers rated up to 5000 Amp.
Batteries Lead Acid, Nickel Cadmium. (C&D, Hoppek).
UPS (100 KVA CEGELEC), VFD’s, Frequency Converter (Static, MG Set).
Installation, testing & commissioning, experience in FFBL & PPL for variety of projects. Proven abilities in project management & lead role in planning, designing, procurement & execution.
Expertise in electrical control circuitry & very sound trouble shooting techniques. (Switchgear panels, Motor Control Centre, distribution panels & complicated PLC/DCS panels).
Primary/Secondary current injection set and testing of protections.
Knowledge about HV/ MV/ LV Auto / Manual Change over scheme.
PLC’s Siemens S5 Series, Program Execution Languages (Ladder, STL, CSF)
Oil sampling, Testing of Di-Electric Strength, Buchholz Relay, Cable Fault Detectors, Insulation Tester, equipment/cable testing techniques.
