Duties and responsibilities
Deal with all the matter related to the accounts and finance of the scheme under government rules and regulation.
Maintain close liaison with the finance department and specially AG office in accounts financial related matter.
Coordinate with the all the stakeholders including Colleges Universities, Finance Department Planning and Development Department for the effective utilization of Govt. funds.
Deal with the Banks for investment of Govt. Funds with high competitive rate.
Managing disbursement of scholarships (Inland & Foreign) to the talented students of the province under the Govt. special initiatives.
Managing financial matters of special initiatives programme including Chief Minister Education Endowment Fund, Higher Education Endowment Fund, Higher Education Research Endowment Fund and Monthly Stipend for Unemployed Youth.
Keep complete and updated record of all financial transaction, money bills, expenditure, arrangements for salaries etc.
Make financial and other arrangements for meetings, visits and seminars/workshops for the Director.
Managing administrative work of the office as per Govt. rules and policy.
Monitor and evaluate the performance/issues of the colleges where BS Programme is running and conduct audit of the funds allotted for BS purpose by the Govt.
