A. Key player in providing accounting solutions and evaluating the entire merger process which
involved complex accounting transaction, valuation process and set up of the entire new chart of
accounts and financial statement clubbing etc.
B. Involved in post-merger transition to new IT system (SAP) involving data migration and
completion of accounting set up (cost center/ profit center set up, flow of transaction and
recording of entries in system etc.)
C. Liaise with the IPO consultants/legal advisors, banks etc. at the time of floating 30% of shares in
the Saudi stock exchange.
D. Involved in the uploading of quarterly/annual financial summary and providing financial analysis
to the Saudi stock exchange (Tadawal) on Company performance/position.
E. Head the financial reporting process including monthly reporting and involvement with the
auditors for quarterly reviews and statutory audit.
F. Knowledge in the SAP ERP system with re-engineering of the respective cost centers and profit
centers as required by the Company.
G. Lead the project assigned by the company board in the
mandatory IFRS transition from SOCPA for all listed entities as required by Saudi
Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).
A. Planning, conducting and finalization of audits of financial statements of various types of
organizations operating in different industries engaged (i.e. banking, Islamic banking, ground
handling services, whole sale and retail business and Insurance) and assist clients in the
preparation of new policies/disclosures in the financial statements in accordance with
requirement of relevant standards and legislations.
B. Mentoring of the audit team and evaluating their performance constantly and set them
standards. Conduct various training and coaching sessions to audit staff in accordance with the
KPMG’s Audit Methodology.
C. Perform audit procedures in line with generally accepted auditing standards of Saudi Arabia/
US GAAP and IFRS.
D. Review of compliance of applicable regulations governing the industry such as Saudi Arabian
Monetary Agency (SAMA), Capital Market Authority (CMA) and the Ministry of Commerce
and Industry (MOCI).
E. Review and analyze internal control weakness and report to the management to discuss with
audit committee along with recommendations to the management.
F. Liaison and coordination with client management at all instances in respect to the audit,
accounting, zakat and tax and client service matters.
G. Advising clients on complex accounting queries and assist in the calculation of complex
derivative instruments (e.g. currency and interest rate SWAPS) impacting the financial
statements.
A. Planning, conducting and finalization of audits of various organization including complex
groups, financial institutions and several entities that are listed in the Colombo Stock
Exchange.
B. Give attention to critical audit and accounting issues, discuss with client top management and
suggests approaches for addressing issues
C. Advice clients on the tax issues including corporation tax, value added tax and withholding tax
and advice on calculation of tax liability.
D. Participate in audit committee meetings provide insight on company’s internal and external
environment potential business risks and financial implications.
E. Assist clients in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for complex groups.

I am a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (UK). I am also a prize winner for advance audit and assurance. I have over ten years of work experience including working for the big four covering many sectors like insurance, banking, islamic banking, shipping, aviation etc.
I completed my diploma in Financial Management with a distinction grade for the London Business School.
