DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Work with the Program Manager WASH CRS Sindh sub-office, CRS WASH POs for hygiene promotion, water quality and field engineers and partner staff in implementation of WASH, relief and rehabilitation activities. This includes hygiene promotion project design, setting and creating a clear procedure of water quality tests and addressing of recommendations, partner monitoring and project monitoring, program support in beneficiary selection and registration, community mobilization, monitoring and evaluation of program activities, coordination, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support CRS and implementing partner staff in water, sanitation and hygiene project design, implementation and monitoring
Ensure sustainability and ownership of projects by communities by ensuring effective mobilization and involvement of communities in all stages of the project by CRS and partner staff.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Work with the Technical Advisor for CFW and partner staff to design and implement high quality cash for work project activities for this phase of emergency response. This includes supporting social mobilization and community consultation for identification of CFW schemes, assist in designing and Implementing CFW implementation procedures, supporting TA for CFW with development of related CFW tools and procedures, and overseeing implementation and troubleshooting of CFW activities as needed.
Specific Activities:
Work with CRS and partner staff to implement high quality CFW activities, including:
Apply and review CFW social mobilization procedures
Apply and review criteria for CFW beneficiary identification and selection
With CFW officer and other relevant staff, oversee related financial procedures, including contracts and payment procedures
Support in design of related M&E tools and procedures
Ensure sound and quality project implementation against CFW performance indicators
Support TA for CFW with additional program quality activities as needed

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DUTIES:

Emergency Response:

Staff and Project Management
Lead and support CRS and Partner staff in the design, implementation and monitoring of community based water, sanitation and hygiene projects
Design and implement projects with the aim of water for multiple uses (domestic, productive and livestock use) streamlining key focus/approaches on water issues that include IWRM, participatory methods (PHAST etc), gender and vulnerable water insecure communities/households
Ensure projects are designed and implemented in meeting minimum quality standards adhering to Sphere and Pakistan Water & Sanitation Standards and Do No Harm principles
Ensure projects are designed and implemented through discussion and involvement of communities/households and feedback from communities/households are incorporated
Ensure projects are designed with clear exit strategies or plans (that involve and through building communities capacity in operation and maintenance of systems) to promote sustainability
Provide frequent field visits to support and guide project staff and ensure quality implementation of activities and community engagement
Work in close collaboration/coordination with project and M&E staff to develop utilization focused project monitoring and evaluation tools and systems
Oversee and lead project assessments and evaluations with the M&E staff
Coordination, Documentation and Information Sharing
Coordinate/collaborate internally with CRS support units (logistics, warehousing, procurement, admin/HR and finance) for the required on time support on material and human resources
Coordinate with government line department for ensuring their understanding of the projects and ensuring their support in getting proper NOCâs and technical guidance and support as needed
Attend District level coordination meetings and ensure close coordination and collaboration with government and agencies working in the districts (UN and local and INGOs)
Enforce and lead proper project information documentation using activities monitoring tools, lessons learned and modifications done from lessons learned and communities feedback on project success/failures
Ensure timely communication of project progress with staff and management and provide high caliber project reports for CRS and donors highlighting project impactagainst indicators. Ensure proper project tracking, record keeping and filing.
Provide regular project update to government line departments by organizing field visits and proving regular project updates and/or reports.
Grant and Financial Management
Understand grant requirements, flexibilities and limitations and ensure grant compliance
Provide and request regular (quarterly and monthly) on time cash forecasts for projects
Work with finance to get regular updates on projects financial information and ensure coherence and relevance of financial and narrative reports
Ensure on time project advances and liquidations in compliance with CRS financial policies
