Overseas university in Melbourne, based in SIM campus (Global Education). As the university is Australian based, we would get both local and overseas lecture, the ethnic and industry background of lecturers offers us a learning interest, as one may be an expert or experienced in his field of teaching. The course covers all aspects of civil aviation, from modules like airline operations, to aircraft maintenance, complex aircraft system to future topics like sustainability and covers a project based module. The learning resources are uploaded through a common database called RMIT blackboard for students access, some modules have concurrent online test, written individual assignements to group based assignments. Topped with end of semester examination. Very varied type of assesment, that focuses on assignments, presentations, exchanges with lecturers and some rigorous testing. Only weakness is the lack of practical application to subjects, industrial exposure and post grad employment oppurtunities.
