Project: RLNG based 1223 MW combined cycle power plant balloki Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
• To check and inspect civil related issues at site.
• Raise warranty defects to the EPC contractor as per required.
• Calculate materials and supervise civil related repair and maintenance works at site.
• To inspect the equipment foundations and buildings settlement on monthly basis and record settlement data.
• Prepare drawings and BOQ for the civil related management of change (MOC) at site.
• To conduct the Toolbox talk (TBT) on daily basis to the workers.
Project: RLNG based 1223 MW combined cycle power plant balloki Pakistan.
The project comprises of 2GE gas turbines (9HA.01) & 1 Alstom steam turbine (STF30C).
• Total project cost: 925.5 million USD
• Total 2765 Piles
• Total 218, 000 cubic meter concrete
• Total 720, 000 cubic meter excavation
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with EPC contractors (Harbin Electric International & Habib Rafiq Limited) regarding all issues i.e daily progress, material storage & required material updates.
• Prepare schedules & update progress by using Primavera p6.
• Prepare drawings by using AutoCAD-2D as per required.
• Monthly & weekly progress review meetings with contractors.
• To ensure Health, Safety & Environment standards at site.
• Worked on construction of gas turbines and steam turbine foundations.
• Worked on construction & installation of Siemens 500KV switchyard & transmission line.
• Worked on construction & installation of HSD storage tanks (20, 000 m3 capacity each).
• Involved in Mechanical & Electrical activities at power plant as well.
• Worked on construction, installation & commissioning of cooling water system.
• Worked on water treatment plant construction, installation & commissioning.
• Worked on plant and residence camp water supply & sewerage system.
• To assist the Civil Manager the supervise the construction works at site.
• Ensure all jobs under supervision in liaison of applicable quality standards.
• Supervision of all tests on site and laboratory i.e Field density test, Pile load test, Compressive and tensile strength tests, Marshall stability test etc.
• Supervision of internal and access roads, Coffer dam & water intake and outfall channels.
• Supervision of building finishing works and landscaping on project site.
• Involved in finalization of master punch list and killing points under supervision.
• Design review and coordination with consultant (Progressive consultants (pvt) limited) for designing phase of housing complex (200 houses) for power plant employees.

• Developing a good understanding of management and construction phase of plant.
• Participation in design review meetings with team to understand and compliance with Employer requirement/International codes.
• Assisting the management in finalisation the baseline L4 schedule of the project.
• Developing the understanding of reporting and make reports as required.
• Developing the understanding of drawings & standards for implementation on site.
• Document controlling and data management.
