Main Purpose
Ensure that gas supply is continuously provided to industrial clients through the performance of scheduled maintenance and operations activities, emergency activities, functional checks and implementation of the patrol plan. Participate in the inspection of PRMS’ construction and installation.
Functional Responsibilities
•Participate in creating patrol plans for industrial PRMS’
•Oversee and follow-up on implementation of the patrol plans
•Analyse patrol readings of PRMS’ to mark potential problems and take appropriate action through functional tests
•Coordinate with maintenance department for scheduled maintenance activities for PRMS’ components
•Assign operations tasks to team members
•Communicate and coordinate with authorities and Client to ensure that industrial client contractual limit is not reached
•Issue consumption declarations with authorities and industrial clients
•Coordinate with client and governmental utility authorities to issue work permits for any activities that might endanger the safety of the PRMS’ and valve rooms and take precautionary measures when required
•Verify accuracy of client metering system and take any necessary actions to rectify any discrepancy
•Perform scheduled calibrations on online Gas Chromatograph instruments
•Conduct calibrations for Gas Leak Detector instruments of all company departments in all sites
•Respond to emergency requests from clients regarding operations
•Coordinate with all departments during emergencies to ensure the continuity of gas supply to the client
•Assess design compliance of contractor proposal in order to ensure that it matches company regulations and specifications regarding metering, filtering and gas pressure reduction
•Oversee and follow-up on installation activities of metering system during construction phase to ensure conformance to specifications
•Ensure conformance of PRMS’ and valve rooms construction to contractual specifications during commissioning and start-up and ensure that the on-going works are in compliance with operations requirements

•Recommend reward and disciplinary action for subordinates

Accomplishments
•Delegated to present a lecture on behalf of “TAQA Arabia - Gas” for the Ecological Diploma academic staff & master students at the faculty of Engineering Cairo University - Cairo (June 11).
•Delegated to attend Factory Acceptance Tests for 60000 Sm3/hr PRMS at “Akfel Muhendislik” - Turkey, Tuzla Industrial Zone (July 10).
•Managed operations activities for more than 60 (PRMS') with different capacities up to 210 000 Sm3/hr - Suez (October 07 till Now).
•Personally Performed successful operations, maintenance and calibration activities for seven Gas Chromatograph instruments - Suez (October 07 till Now).
•Personally Performed successful maintenance and calibration activities for more than Ten Gas Leak Detector instruments - Suez (October 07 till Now).
•Represented Technical Affairs Department at Commercial Biddings/Tenders committees for new PRMS’ - Cairo (October 07 till Now).
•Mentored newly recruited staff (one engineer and six technicians) - Suez (October 07 till Now).
