Deliver commercial support to Project Management throughout contract delivery cycles, advising on project control, variations, and commercial considerations of managing projects.
Implementation of policies and procedures related to procurement according to the PPRA Rules.
Setup of new suppliers and sourcing materials for new Projects.
Review of purchase contracts of existing suppliers.
Implementation of collaborative procurement strategy for renovation of plants.
Supervision of logistics operations inclusive of material imports, outward and inward clearance of the vessels.
Responsible for complete mobilization of pipe laid barge for projects.
Overseeing the day to day departmental functions in procurement of ship spares that includes Mechanical, Electrical, and Class certified steel etc.
Procurement Strategy Development, Strategic Sourcing, Negotiating and Securing long term price contracts.
Assertively negotiate and manage commercial supplier relationships and contracts to deliver signification cost savings for the business.
Setup direct contact with manufacturers and guarantee providing spares with a long terms contract.
Identification of procurement and sourcing risks related to old vessel’s spares and equipments.
Control the process for issuing Confidentiality Agreements as requested by the Senior Management and Business Development.
Contribute to the financial aspects of bids, particularly cost estimation
Actively promote a health and safety culture within the organization to achieve targets of no lost time injuries or environmental discharges.
Enforce compliance with statutory and legal obligations under relevant legislation for corporate activities, including those of subsidiaries.
Coordinate administrative support to ensure that Confidentiality Agreement and Contracts & Agreements registers are properly maintained.
Built relationship with suppliers and buyers in addition to served as the primary points of contact for negotiation and commercial relation.
Providing commercial and contract support to ensure commercial interest are optimized for the business.
Carried out contract bidding evaluation and approval activities.
Developed tender list for suppliers and subcontractors.
Providing the coordination in making the proposals, tender document, queries and participating in the bidding and evaluation of the tendering documents.
Well-developed understanding of planning, scheduling and production control techniques and tools applied in exploration and early development stages of projects. Techniques include the Critical Path Method, with the proper use of durations, scheduling relationships, lags, constraints, and logic to derive the critical path through using the database software like MS Project, and Primavera.
Capacity to maintain interconnection on all on-going projects from beginning to end by providing scheduling, cost control and project management expertise and feedback.
Estimating and controlling the cost & budget of the project through the use of various tool and techniques of the time scope management.
To gain the competent edge over the competitors through JIT, logistic inventory and proper movement of raw material.
Coordinates the documentation of the Management of Change process, and ensures approved changes are correctly incorporated in the project schedule.
Documentation and preparing the weekly, monthly and other regular and ad hoc performance reports, both within the project team and to other parts of the organization.
Organizing control and report systems to monitor progress of all procurement activities to meet project objectives.

Provided project support for all off site activities.
Resolved any problems and issues that arose during the execution of the project.
Ensured staff and sub contractors timesheets were accurately completed.
Identified areas of cost savings and determined labor rates.
Performed the duties of Site Manager in his absence.
