• Supervised a team of 8 producers and APs. Successfully managed a team of producers and APs, ensuring that they produced high-quality content that met the show's editorial standards.
• Filed field reports for the show, including coverage of major news events. Provided live coverage of important news events, such as the US president elections in 2016 and 2018 general elections.
• Made editorial head of the team 5 months into my stint. Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, and was promoted to editorial head of the team in a short period of time.
• Interviewed hundreds of leading national and international politicians, policymakers, and sportspersons. Developed strong relationships with key stakeholders and secured interviews with some of the most influential people in the world.
Produced content (video/text) for the website and was also responsible for maintaining relations with media and innovative fund-raising techniques.
As lead researcher, I was tasked to set the agenda of broadcast and also coordinate
with policy makers and intelligentsia. The show usually covered issues related to
peace and conflict.
Led the #1 flagship show of the channel for the evening broadcast by forecasting content trends and curating shows accordingly; facilitated production for the planning and research department.
Joined the organization as an intern without any stipend. Ended up as Controller News
where my job was lead and direct the team of news producers. Responsibilities
included setting the agenda of news for the website and soliciting/editing opinion
articles and blogs.
