6 weeks internship program
First half of internship at 220KV Ravi Grid Station (Ravi Road Lahore), where we observed and studied the equipment’s of grid station like Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Isolators, Surge Arresters, Bus Bars, Grounding System, 11KV CBs, DC Batteries, Shunt Reactors and Shunt Capacitor Banks.
Second half of internship at System Protection (WAPDA House Lahore), where we studied the function of protection equipment’s like relays, Circuit Breakers. Different Relays used in the field like Distance Relay, Differential Relay, Overcurrent Relay, Synchronism Check and Breaker Failure Relay.
