Working with and leading Shipping department, communication with buyers for international sales /export purpose, making shipping plan, taking buyer approval for shipping, shipping of the garments to different destinations of the world .Working with buying houses, namely, Miles\[for knit garments\], VFC\[for woven garments\] . Expertise in handling shipments, monitoring International Sales related shipping docs (import & export), banks, customs, EPB, BEPZA and Port Authority, shipping lines, forwarders etc. Also working with and leading Stock & Design Department of Youngone Group, monitoring all of its export & import .Which team is responsible for new garment style development, utilizing stock fabric, and sample making for buyer approval, shipping samples, importing materials, order handling after receiving confirmed order from buyer, export of produced garments coordinating with Korea Head Office.
Professional Experiences
Working as Manager of a 100% export (International Sales) oriented multinational company, Youngone Group, in addition to shipping related issues, new style development, utilizing stock fabric, accessories & garments, also working and leading a project of controlling stock fab., accessories and garments using a customized software, namely "glostom" , which needs coordinating with material control deptt., packing section, sales, production, QA deptt. & Head Office (Korea) Materials deptt and making report on it to publish in company website after accumulate all unit wise data.
Leading a shiipping department as a Section Manager which worked for one buyer with annual export 100 million dollar.Which had mainly exported Tekware, Outerwear and Snowsports garments to USA, EU, Japan and some African destinations.
Worked as a literary translator.
Published a short story translation book, namely "Shreshtha Galpa", participated in international literary translations contests through British Council.
Certified Supply Chain Manager by International Supply Chain Education Alliance,USA.
