Coordinating with suppliers, warehouse & transporters. Updating customers & sales team about stock in hand. Checking expiry of items, moving them accordingly. Tracking orders with local suppliers & international shipments and coordinating with clearing agents to make sure shipments are being cleared on time to avoid any demurrages, providing them shipment details, documents & NOC as per request.
Procurement: Coordinating with warehouse and sales team for current & future material requirements also checking customer’s LPO (projects) in hand to place an order & production with suppliers, crosschecking margin, purchase & transportation cost specially in international shipments. Negotiating for special discount in big quantity purchase.Taking GRN. Prepare costing in system for local & international shipments.
Price/Cost Control: Preparing & keeping an eye on local/international margin and costs in sales and purchase in system. Checking & updating Sales Team for Purchase/Sales history “project & client wise” in system if there is any change. Advising for bulk buying for more discount. Managing special project pricing as per rebate system from manufactures.
