Power Plant Operator,Power Station/utility operator at Chashma NuclearPower Generating Station

08 years experience as power plant operator
2009 to till now in Chashma Power Generating Station (PAKISTAN).I have worked at following plant systems.
STEAM TURBINE:
4*340 MWe condensing steam turbine (steam flow 2020 t/h, temperature 268.1º C, inlet pr. 5.34(a) MPa discharge pressure 5.74(a) KPa.
It is a tandem compound turbine and comprise of one high pressure turbine and two low pressure turbines with two moisture separator and re-heaters. Related systems /equipment are following.
High pressure feed water pumps 2x1010 t/h, discharge pressure 9.0 Mpa.
Condensate pumps 2*750 t/h.
Condensate booster pumps 2*750t/h.
7 feed water heaters (3 low pressure heaters, 1 de-aerator, and 3 high pressure heaters).
2 moisture separator and re-heaters.
Turbine extraction steam system.
EH oil supply system control and safety system.
EH oil filtration system.
Turbine lubrication oil system.
Turbine glands sealing steam system.
Condenser vacuum system.
Generator rotor and stator cooling water.
Circulating cooling water system (river water).
Close cycle cooling water system.
Condenser tube sheet cavity sealing water system.
WATER PRETREATMENT PLANT
Coagulation, Flocculation, Sedimentation and filtration process.
•Chemical water turbidity<2ppm.
•Domestic water turbidity<5ppm.
Producing service water 34000 m³ /day, domestic water 8800 m³/day
Production of high qualified demineralize water through PLC&DCS.
Maintain the chemistry of condensate feed water.
Maintain the chemistry of condensate cycle and operation and regeneration of condensate mix bed.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Operations, surveillance of plant electrical systems, Main Generator, Main Transformer, Auxiliary Transformer, Rectifiers, 220KV/132KV GIS SF6 circuit breaker, Air Circuit Breakers, 6KV Buses and Circuit breakers, 220 V AC/DC UPS system. I have working experience of grid connection, Isolation and normalization of 220kv, 6.3kv and 380v buses, #2EDG 3.4Mwe and related auxiliary systems.
AUXILIARY BOILER
Full command of operation of 2*12.5t/h, 4 pass oil and gas fired, package type, Dry back Auxiliary Boilers and its auxiliaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES &DUTIES:
Maintain detailed operation logs for all operation activities.
Maintain deficiencies record of plant systems and equipment.
Participate in planning of plant shut down and RFO job.
Carry out isolation of the equipment for planned and emergency maintenance and normalization of the plant thereafter.
Supervise, instruct and co-ordinate with the assigned crew efficiency and effectively fulfill my job functions and assignments.
Perform all turbine tests during plant normal operation.
Fully involves in the plant start up, plant normal power operation, power reduction and handling all types of transients in all phases of plant.
SUITABILITY FOR THE JOB APPLIED
I can well understand & read PFDs, P&IDs & Isometrics etc.
I have sufficient knowledge of DCS and PLC systems.
I can handle turbine operations (warm up, start up, rolling and power operation).
I can handle / resolve operational problems, as my experience has enhanced my abilities for troubleshooting.
I am used to abide by Industrial Safety practices & procedures.
I have very good communication skills.
I am very used to of long working hours and shift schedules.
I found myself very quick to learn. I have good foundation and practical knowledge of power plant operation and water treat plant.
I have power plant engineering concept.
I have ability to give accurate feedback to maintenance person on equipment problems.
I have best ENGINEERING & PRINCIPLE knowledge about combine cycle power plant.
