• Crane Inspection / Materials Inspection (Slings, Shackles, etc.)
• Advise the riggers on proper rigging procedures if the need arises
• Constantly monitor the wind speed for safe crane operation

POLLUTION CONTROL
➢ Functions as the Environmental Management System (EMS) Secretariat of the company.
➢ Overall in charge of Company-wide EMS Activity on: a. Planning,
b. Application
c. Monitoring
d. Control
e. Review
➢ In charge of the following important points to be monitored: a. Waste Management
b. Monitoring of Non-use of Prohibited Substances
c. Chemical handling and containment
d. Noise measurement and analysis
e. Wastewater Discharge analysis and modification
f. Exhaust gas analysis and modification etc.
➢ Regularly educates and conducts training to all employees, and contractors within the company about Environmental Management System and its importance.
➢ Attend to the requirements of the company prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities.
➢ Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities with the end in view of ensuring their compliance with the air, noise and water quality standards for both the government and the company.
➢ Supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the company
➢ Regularly communicates with the city/provincial/municipal or local pollution control officers
➢ Advise the management on the following:
a. Legal and contractors requirements affecting safety, health and environment.
• Keeps one's self abreast with the requirements of the government and the latest available technology on safety, and loss prevention.
• Make and submit periodic reports as required by the company and by the government.

➢ Carry out survey to see that safe work methods, health and safety requirements are being observed, and that first aid facilities are adequate and promptly maintained.
➢ Conduct monthly Top Management Safety Patrol in order to point out abnormal items at the workplace, and analyze for appropriate countermeasures.
➢ Initiate accident investigation and recommend countermeasures to prevent the recurrence.
➢ In collaboration with training, participate in conducting safety training and implement safety programs to all employees and develop employee safety education program.
➢ Trainings: a. Conduct training for Fire Brigade Members
b. Conduct Safety Orientation and Safety Education for all new employees.
c. Conduct training for First Aiders.
➢ Record, analyze and collate data on injuries, damage to properties and assess accident trends to determine overall safety performance.
➢ Review Constructions Safety Preparations and conduct Safety Patrol to all constructions.
