INTECH Process Automation is a renowned system integrator and automation solution provider for the oil & gas sector globally.
Working as a Design & Application Engineer on the OML100 Project which is an offshore site in Nigeria whose detail is given below:

OML100 NIGERIA(TOTAL E&P NIGERIA LIMITED):

PROJECT SCOPE:

The oil fields ODUDU, together with AFIA, IME and EDIKAN are located on OML 100. These fields were developed by TEPNG in the conventional offshore area (water depth: 70m) in the period 1993-1995.
OML 100 fields are developed with a manned central complex comprising of a process platform (ODP1) bridged
linked to the wellhead platform (ODD1). Three unmanned satellites AFD1, IMD1 and EDD1 are tied back to the central complex. The liquids of three satellite fields (AFIA, IME and EDIKAN) are piped to ODP1 and onwards to FSO UNITY. INTECH’s scope is to carry out detailed engineering and design activities related to the up gradation of the existing OML 100 Control, and Safety and F&G systems with an integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS)
except AFD1 satellites. Here mainly the Bailey INFI 90 DCS is being replaced with Yokogawa Centum VP DCS.

My key responsibilities in the above mentioned project are listed below:

- To Design and develop the control logics as per control write up provided by the process/operation team finalized with the client.
- Communication of the Yokogawa Centum VP with the SSS(Safety system) & FGS( Fire & Alarm System) systems using ALR121 & ALE111 communicating modules.
- HMI designing using the Graphic Builder Function.
- Developed the SOE (Sequence Of Events) Configuration with the Yokogawa Engineer.
- Development of the Shift & Daily Reports using the Report Package.
- To conduct Design Validation Test in USA after completing the in-house designing.
- To conduct FAT after developing all the control logics and HMIs.
- To involve in the commissioning activities along with the mechanical, process & electrical teams.

DCS (Yokogawa) Engineer at OMS Private Limited

I was appointed as a DCS Enginneer in 26.35MW solid fuel based power plant. My key responsibilities are listed below:

- Modification in the existing logics or graphics as per the process requirement.
- Hot & Cold start-up of the plant.
- Troubleshooting in the field instrument & DCS system.
- Report development using the report package.
- Generating the trip reports based upon the process history, SOE(Sequence Of Events) & trends.
- Implementation of the Preventive Maintenance Schedule on daily basis.
- Operation & Maintenance.

MEC Private Limited is the Local Business Partner of the Yokogawa which is the world’s leader in manufacturing of Field Instruments & DCS Systems.

Worked as Instrumentation & Control Engineer with advance skills of Yokogawa DCS, Management, Designing, Installation & Commissioning, Startup, SAT, Troubleshooting and maintenance of Control Systems at different industries/sites. I have done 4 projects here from erection to commissioning. The details of the projects are mentioned in the resume. My key responsibilities here listed below:

- Kick-off meetings with client and Management to ensure the client requirements, Status updates & schedule for smooth execution of project.
- Responsible for Detailed logic engineering, HMI displays, SOE (Sequence of Events), Marshalling and System Cabinets allocations, Loop Checking, SAT, Pre- Commissioning, Commissioning activities.
- Supervision of erection, commissioning and start up activities of DCS and field instruments.
- Installed all type of field instruments and Execution of the whole plant instrumentation job as per designed Junction Boxes layouts, Wiring Diagrams of DCS, Instrument layout, Instrument hooks ups, Cable Schedule, Cause and Effects, P&ID’s and Instrument Tubing and their accessories
- Communication between two FCS (Field Control Station) via Fiber optic & Ethernet.
- Coordination/Correspondence with Client & Vendors for Technical Clarifications.
- Tracing the cable tray route from the cable tray layout drawings.
- Decided the location of the JBs (Junction Boxes) and its installation accordingly.
- Supervision of the placement of the Yokogawa DCS in the Main Control Room & WTP (Water Treatment Plant) Control Room
- Calibrated the installed instruments using HART Communicator.
- Supervision of laying of the Field instrument cables till JBs and then laying of the Multicore cables from JBs to the DCS Marshalling panels.
- Connected the marshalling panels with DCS System panels using control cables.
- Preparation of the Cable schedule for termination of cables in JBs & DCS Marshalling panels as per the document provided by Yokogawa’s I/O Connection List.
- Supervision of Termination of the cables in JBs and DCS Marshalling and System panels.
- Loop/ Continuity test from DCS Marshalling panels to the Field Instrument.
- Assisting the Yokogawa DCS team at the time of commissioning

the selection & sizing of the field instruments i.e. pressure/temperature/flow/level transmitters (Fisher
RoseMount), pressure reducing regulators ( Fisher Controls) & control valves ( Fisher Controls) depending upon
the process data provided by the customers. My main Job Responsibilities are:

* Analyze specifications, application data sheets, inquiry data sheets, or other similar documents to determine
if the desired specifications can be met or not.
* Define the products and their interrelationships to meet the functional and performance requirements.
* Configure products and modify designs, prepare drawing sketches, design system specifications, generate
time and cost estimates, write exceptions to customer specifications, prepare formal valve operating system
quotations, summary price sheets and bills of material.
* Provide technical support directly to customers to respond to queries about products and their use or to
explain the design and function of their system solutions.
